Here are a few different recipes lip and brow products.

Lipstick

  • Sweet almond oil 400 g;
  • Yellow wax 50 g;
  • Spermaceti 56 g;
  • Rose oil 5 drops.

Mix and heat in a water bath until dissolved. Pour into hot jars.

Lip sticks

  • Paraffin 450 g;
  • Almond oil 110 g;
  • Liquid carmine 28 g.

Dissolve, mix and pour into molds.

Eyebrow sticks

They are made like lip sticks. Lamp black is used instead of carmine.

Lipstick

  • Paraffin 800 g;
  • Vaseline 800 g;
  • Alcanina 5 g;
  • Bergamot oil 10 g;
  • Lemon oil 10 g.

Red Liquid Lip Blush

  • Pure ammonia 120 g;
  • Carmine 70 g;
  • Rose extract 140 g;
  • Rose water 4 liters.

From the above products, when properly prepared, high-grade rouge is obtained, used mainly for lips.

In a bottle containing approximately 8 liters, insist on ammonia for several days, carefully ground carmine; then the remaining liquids are added and the resulting mixture is kept for 8 days, with frequent shaking.

After this period, the bottle is left to stand until the liquid becomes completely transparent, and then carefully poured into the vials without shaking the sediment.

The quality of the resulting rouge depends mainly on the quality of the carmine, so it is necessary to use the highest grades of carmine for this production.

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>

Multicolored photons 25.07.2017

Despite the huge amount of research in the field of quantum computing, universal quantum computers continue to be a purely theoretical concept. Let us remind our readers that the basis of any quantum computer or communication system is quantum bits called qubits. Qubits differ from traditional bits in that, in addition to the two basic states, 1 or 0, they can be in a third state - in a state of superposition, when the value of a qubit is both 1 and 0. This, in turn, allows using one qubit to perform two parallel computing operations.

The connection of individual qubits into a computing system is carried out using the phenomenon of quantum entanglement. At the same time, a system of two qubits is already capable of performing four parallel operations, and a system of three qubits is capable of performing eight. And a system with dozens of qubits is capable of computing much faster than traditional computers.

However, the state of superposition and the phenomenon of quantum entanglement are extremely fragile things that are destroyed at the slightest impact on them from the outside. And scientists from the Institute INRS (Institut national de la recherche scientifique), Canada, have proposed a very interesting and promising alternative to qubits - multidimensional quantum bits (quDit), based on the use of "colorful" photons of light. Moreover, these researchers created a quantum chip on which two quDits were created, with the help of which research was carried out on this new quantum technology.

An optical cavity is located on the surface of the quantum chip, into which two entangled photons of light are launched. Each of the photons can have 10 basic quantum states determined by its wavelength (color) and be in a state of superposition, in which it can be red AND green AND blue AND yellow at the same time. These colors were given conditionally, since infrared photons were used in practice.

Thus, each of the "colorful" photons is capable of being in 100 different states, and a system of two such photons, quDits, is equivalent in performance (the number of parallel operations performed by it) to a system with 12 classical qubits entangled with each other. "For the first time, we have managed to obtain a multidimensional quantum state in a fairly simple way," says Michael Kues, lead researcher. "And our next task will be to use such a multidimensional quantum system to perform practical calculations."
