rouge can be divided into three categories: dry, oily and liquid.

Making dry blush is perhaps the most difficult task in all cosmetics and has evolved over time into a kind of specialty. The main difficulty in making rouge is to make the tablets so strong that they do not break in transit, but are so soft that they easily give off paint. Oily blush is prepared in the same way as fixers, i.e. after merging the components and after melting, the finished mass is poured into molds and allowed to cool. The tips of the sticks are sharpened using a small machine resembling a pencil sharpener.

Making liquid blush is not difficult. The prepared liquid mixture is poured into a vertically suspended cylindrical vessel with a tap, in which there is a rotating screw, and thus the mixture is poured into flasks.

Dry blush tablets

I. Take:

  • 8 parts of talc;
  • 2 parts of zinc oxide;
  • 4 parts rice starch;
  • 2 parts bismuth chloride;
  • 1 part burnt plaster.

The mixture is stirred with water into a mushy mass, stained with eosin, poured into molds and dried. Used dry by rubbing.

II. Mix:

  • 1500 parts of talc;
  • 500 parts of dextrin;
  • 1 part bergamot oil;
  • 1 part rose oil;

a solution of 100 parts of carmine, 200 parts of ammonia is added and a plastic mass is prepared on sugar syrup (as much as necessary), round cakes are squeezed out of it and dried in air. When used, the place that they want to color is lightly moistened with water, rubbed with a tablet and smoothed with a piece of cotton wool.

III. mixed

  • 3-5 parts carmine;
  • 60 parts of talc;
  • 5 parts gum arabic with water

until a doughy mass is obtained, with which small porcelain cups are filled and dried.

Oily blush paste type

I. Melt 75 parts of white wax, 75 parts of spermaceti, 1000 parts of white vaseline and add 1 part of eosin (in aqueous solution) and perfume as desired.

II. 1000 parts of lanolin, 1 part of eosin (in aqueous solution) are mixed and perfume is added.

III. 3 parts of carmine, 5 parts of gum arabic, 6 parts of fish oil are carefully ground in a porcelain mortar until a homogeneous mass is obtained and perfume is added as desired.

IV. 400 parts of white wax, 400 parts of cocoa butter, 200 parts of Provence oil are melted, stirred, a mixture of 1,5 parts of rose oil, 0,5 parts of bergamot oil, 0,5 parts of musk is poured. Then a solution of 10 parts of carmine, 25 parts of ammonia is added to the cooling mass and molded into sticks.

Liquid blush

I. 1 part of cochineal powder, 2 parts of ammonia are ground, add 5 parts of rose water, 20 parts of distilled water and filter.

II. 25 parts of carmine, 12 parts of cochineal diluted in ammonia; 600 parts of rose water are boiled for half an hour, after which 6 parts of cremortartar, 3 parts of alum are added. After cooling, add 400 parts of perfume "Rose" and filter.

Eosin blush

Eosin can serve as a substitute for carmine and cochineal. In combination with rose water, it gives a liquid pinkish-flesh-colored blush that does not come off even with sweat. They do not close the pores of the skin, they are washed off only with hot water and soap, and when used skillfully, they amaze with the naturalness of their color.

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>

The tunnel is closed by a huge traffic jam 24.07.2012

If underground water has penetrated into a tunnel on a highway or subway, if dangerous substances have spilled there or a fire has broken out, it may be necessary to cut off the dangerous area by sealing it. In the United States, a giant inflatable cork ten meters long and five meters in diameter has been proposed for such cases. It can be stored in a recess in the tunnel wall, inflated with air or filled with water in a few minutes, and seals the tunnel tightly.

Cork made of multi-layered synthetic fabric is much cheaper than sealed sliding doors, which are usually provided in tunnels.
