Proposed kitchenette allows you to cook food in field conditions in any weather. It is especially convenient for weekend hikes, as it "does not require an ax": it works on dry fuel sold in sports stores, as well as on forest "garbage": branches, chips, needles.

To make a kitchen, you will need three ordinary aluminum cans: for one, two and three liters. The smaller ones serve as cooking containers. Their alteration consists in cutting the necks and drilling holes in the remaining "belts" for removable wire handles.

To ensure that the tanks can be closed during cooking, the lids should also be finalized. To do this, 12 cuts are made in the lid of a two-liter can; the resulting petals are bent outward through one, by about 60 °.

The edges of the lid of the small tank are also bent, and so that it is removed inside the container in the stowed position of the kitchen, it is cut off on both sides in accordance with the diameter of the neck.

The furnace body of the kitchen is made from a three-liter can. A hole with a diameter of 2 mm larger than the diameter of a two-liter can is cut out in its bottom. Then, on the transitional part of the neck, two rows of holes with a diameter of 8 mm are drilled in a checkerboard pattern and another row near the bottom.

These holes are needed to release gases and create traction. A rectangular hole is cut on the side surface - a firebox and is edged with a patch frame.

To install the brewing containers, there are three stops made of a duralumin corner, riveted inside the body. It remains to rivet the lid and lay the "grate" for fuel - a circle of wire mesh.

The kitchenette is designed for two people and weighs 1,1 kg. If you make a body out of a five-liter can, and cook food in one-, two- and three-liter cans, you get a version of a kitchen for four. This design has been successfully used for three seasons.
