Relief Success drowning largely depends on the correct assessment of the circumstances and the type of drowning, which helps targeted first aid, sometimes effective even when the victim is clinically dead.

To revive the victim, the temperature of the water at which drowning occurred is essential.

In cold water, the body temperature of a drowned person quickly decreases, which slows down the metabolic processes in the body and makes it more resistant to lack of oxygen, which creates more favorable conditions for revival. The nature of assistance to the victim, extracted from the water, depends on the severity of his condition. If he is conscious, you need to calm him down, take off his wet clothes, wipe his skin dry, change clothes; if consciousness is absent, but the pulse and breathing are preserved, ammonia should be inhaled, the chest should be freed from restrictive clothing; to activate breathing, you can use the rhythmic twitching of the tongue.

In the absence of cardiac activity and respiration, the simplest methods of reviving the body are used. First of all, fluid is removed from the respiratory tract, for this they put the victim on his bent knee with his stomach, the head of the victim hangs down and water flows out of the upper respiratory tract and stomach. After removing the water, they immediately begin artificial respiration, having previously cleaned the victim's oral cavity from sand, silt, and vomit.

Among the many methods of artificial respiration are the most effective! mouth-to-mouth and mouth-to-nose methods. With artificial respiration, the victim is in a supine position with his head thrown back, which contributes to the most complete opening of the entrance to the larynx. Breathing "mouth to mouth" and "mouth to nose" is best done through gauze or other thin fabric. While blowing air into the mouth, the victim's nose is clamped; when blowing into the nose, the victim's mouth should be closed and the lower jaw pushed forward. Simultaneously with artificial respiration, an external heart massage is performed, producing five chest compressions after each breath (blowing). Attempts to revive a drowning person by rocking on a sheet, blanket, etc. (pumping out) are pointless and extremely harmful.

In any condition of the victim, it is necessary to warm his body by rubbing, massaging the arms and legs.

These activities are carried out immediately after removing the drowning person from the water (on the shore, in a boat, on a raft) until the arrival of a doctor or delivery of the victim to the hospital, where he will be assisted with the use of artificial respiration, if necessary, heart massage, drugs.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

EVGA GQ Series 80Plus Gold Power Supplies 11.11.2015

With an eye on demanding users, EVGA has developed a new series of power supplies GQ Series. The new products use support for EVGA ECO technology, which provides an almost silent fan operation, high-quality Japanese-made capacitors are used. The new power supplies are highly efficient and 80Plus Gold compliant.

The Whisper Silent feature only activates the 135mm fan when needed. At low to medium load, only passive components are sufficient for cooling, and at a higher load, active air cooling is included in the work. The efficiency of power supplies reaches 90% or more, depending on the load. The modular design allows you to connect only the cables you need.

All new models use a single +12 V architecture. For example, the 1000 W model provides a maximum load current of 83,3 A on its +12 V line. For the youngest model in the series (650 W), this figure is 54 A. All models support a full range of protection functions, including OVP (Over Voltage Protection), UVP (Under Voltage Protection), OPP (Over Power Protection), SCP (Short Circuit Protection), OCP (Over Current Protection), OTP ( overheat protection).
The series includes models with a power of 650, 750, 850 and 1000 watts.
