Safe Operation

1. General safety requirements

1.1. This instruction provides for exposure to hazardous and harmful production factors.

1.2. An accountant can be injured by careless use of tools (tattoos, scissors), inept use of ladders

1.3. An accountant is allowed to work independently after passing:

medical examination;
introductory briefing conducted by the chief engineer or labor protection engineer;
primary briefing at the workplace, conducted by the head of the unit, section, foreman or foreman;
teaching elementary rules of electrical safety, testing knowledge of elementary rules of electrical safety with the assignment of 1 qualification group.

1.4. Knowledge testing of these instructions for an accountant is carried out once a year.

1.5. An accountant is obliged to fulfill official duties, work on the instructions of his manager, observe labor discipline, promptly and accurately comply with the orders of the administration and labor protection requirements.

1.6. The employee must do:

rules of internal labor regulations;
perform only the work included in their official duties;
be extremely careful in the places of traffic on the territory of the enterprise.

1.7. When operating a personal computer, an accountant may be exposed to the following hazardous production factors:

increased levels of electromagnetic radiation;
low or high humidity in the working area;
reduced or increased air mobility of the working area;
increased noise level;
increased or decreased illumination level;
increased brightness of the light image;
increased voltage in the electrical circuit, the closure of which can occur through the human body;
eye strain, attention, prolonged static loads.

1.8. A pharmacy accountant who operates electrical equipment while performing work duties must have basic familiarity with the electrical installation being operated (operating instructions, location of connection of the electrical installation in the switchgear, input switch, locking switch, circuit diagram of the connection route, control buttons, housing, control knobs, main elements electrical installations, control panel, grounding.).

1.9. The accountant must comply with fire safety requirements, know the location of fire extinguishing equipment, and be able to use primary fire extinguishing equipment, including fire extinguishers.

1.12. A pharmacy accountant who violates labor safety instructions may be subject to disciplinary action. If a violation of labor safety rules is associated with causing property damage to the enterprise, the employee also bears financial responsibility in the manner prescribed by law.

2. Safety requirements before starting work

2.1. An accountant is obliged to prepare his workplace for safe work and to bring it into proper sanitary condition.

2.2. Before starting work, check the serviceability of the equipment, computer, electrical outlets, lighting and other devices.

2.3. Equipment, fixtures and other auxiliary materials not used in the work should not be at the workplace.

2.4. Do not wipe electrical equipment that is energized with a damp cloth (napkin).

2.5. The accountant must ensure that the equipment being turned on does not endanger anyone.

3. Safety requirements during work

3.1. During work, the accountant must:

perform only the work that is defined by his job description, which he was entrusted with and for which he was instructed;
during the whole working time to keep the workplace in order and cleanliness;
keep the ventilation openings that are equipped with devices and PCs open;
do not clutter up the equipment with foreign objects that reduce heat transfer;
comply with sanitary standards and observe the regime of work and rest.

3.2. The workplace should be equipped in such a way as to exclude uncomfortable postures and prolonged static body stress.

3.3. When working on a PC, the possibility of simultaneous contact with the equipment and parts of the room or equipment that are connected to the ground (battery radiators, metal structures) should be excluded.

3.4. During operation, do not place papers, books or other objects on the monitor that may block its ventilation holes.

3.5. When using step ladders, you must first check their serviceability.

3.6. It is prohibited to use random objects, stands (boxes, chairs). Step ladders must have rubber shoes on their strings.

3.7. During periods of widespread colds, the administrator must cover his mouth and nose with a gauze bandage and disinfect his hands with a 0,5% chloramine solution.

4. Safety requirements in emergency situations

4.1. The victim or eyewitness of the accident must immediately notify the manager of each accident related to production.

The head must organize first aid for the victim, his delivery to a medical institution, inform the head of the pharmacy, labor protection engineer

4.2. In the event of a fire in the electrical wire or PC, immediately disconnect it from the mains, inform the fire department by calling 01 and start extinguishing the fire with a carbon dioxide or powder fire extinguisher.

It is forbidden to use foam fire extinguishers to extinguish electrical wiring and live equipment, as foam is a good conductor of electric current.

4.3. In the event of an electric shock to an employee, provide first aid to the victim, contact the first-aid post or call a doctor.

5. Safety requirements upon completion of work

5.1. The accountant must turn off all appliances and apparatus.

5.2. At the end of the working day, wash your hands thoroughly and follow all the requirements for personal hygiene of pharmacy employees.

5.4. If operational deficiencies or malfunctions of devices, instruments and equipment are identified during work, the administrator must notify the manager about this and, in accordance with the instructions, take measures to eliminate the deficiencies.
