1. General requirements for labor protection

1.1. The operation of the fecal pumping station is allowed for personnel who have passed a medical examination, safety briefing, training in the "Motor Operator of Pumping Stations" program and who has a qualification group for electrical safety 1, as well as those who have passed:

on-the-job training;
fire safety briefing;
electrical safety training.

1.2. Checking the driver's knowledge of the rules for the safe maintenance of fecal centrifugal pumps should be carried out annually in the commissions of the enterprise.

1.3. The operator of the fecal pumping station must know:

purpose and arrangement and principle of operation of pumping fecal pumps (5F-12, 3F-12);
sewer crusher device D-3A;
the impact on workers of hazardous and harmful production factors;
industrial hygiene requirements;
location of first aid kits.

1.4. The fecal pumping operator must:

perform only the work included in his duties;
monitor compliance with safety requirements during the operation of pumping units;
keep the workplace clean, do not litter the aisles;
undergo periodic medical control in accordance with order No. 90 dated March 14.03.1996, XNUMX.

1.5. The driver in his work must use the following PPE:

cotton suit;
combined gloves;
leather boots.

1.6. The fecal pump operator should only perform the work assigned by the work manager.

1.7. The driver's workplace and aisles must be systematically cleaned of debris, and in winter from snow and ice, sprinkled with sand or ash, the workplace should be well lit.

1.8. Coupling halves connecting the pump to the electric motor must be protected by a casing.

1.9. The case of the electric motor, knife switch, starting device must be grounded.

1.10. The fecal pumping operator must comply with:

internal labor regulations, especially in terms of the prohibition of being in the workplace while intoxicated;
fire safety rules;

1.11. The driver must be aware that in case of violation of the requirements of the instructions, he is liable in accordance with applicable law.

2. Labor protection requirements before starting work

2.1. The driver accepting the shift must check:

serviceability of suction and discharge pipelines;
instrumentation readings, their serviceability;
temperature of bearings, presence of lubrication, sufficient tightening of stuffing box seals;
lack of vibration of the pump and motor;
serviceability of the starting device;
presence and serviceability of grounding of electric motors.
accept the shift and sign in the journal of acceptance and delivery of shifts;
wear overalls.

2.2. Before starting the pump, it is necessary to remove foreign objects from it, after making sure that the pump is in good condition, the driver starts to start the pump. 3. Labor protection requirements during work

3.1. The driver must follow:

a) for the correct and normal operation of fecal pumps;

b) monitor the readings of instrumentation and control equipment;

c) the driver, when operating the pump with an electric motor, in order to avoid electric shock, is prohibited from touching live parts under voltage, even insulated ones;

d) systematically check the heating of the parts of the pump and the electric motor;

e) periodically clean the inlet grates, periodically pump out water from the pit with a record in the log of the start and stop of the pump;

i) check the presence of oil every 6 months;

j) maintain order in the premises of the fecal pumping station and the adjacent territory.

3.2. It is strictly forbidden to leave the workplace (even if the equipment is not working) if the shift does not appear.

In such a situation, the driver is obliged to notify the shift foreman and, if necessary, stay on the 2nd shift no more than 2 hours before the change.

3.3. Work for 2 shifts in a row is prohibited.

4. Labor protection requirements in emergency situations

4.1. The pump must be stopped in the following cases:

if shocks, shocks, rattles are heard in the pump or electric motor;
if there is a smell of burning and a high temperature of the bearings (more than 75 ° C);
with abnormal shaking and vibration;
in the event of a ground break.

4.2. In case of injury, call an ambulance and notify the supervisor.

5. Labor protection requirements at the end of work

5.1. The operator of the fecal pumping station is obliged to:

to calculate the amount of wastewater that passed through the station per shift with a log entry;
turn off the power to the pump, the knock of the closing check valve characterizes the correct stop of the pump, the absence of the knock of the check closing valve and the spontaneous rotation of the pump shaft in the opposite direction after it is turned off indicates that the check valve is stuck.
