Safety requirements

1. Persons who have been instructed in safe techniques and work methods are allowed to work on changing drainpipes.

2. Change of downpipes is carried out from inventory scaffolding, hanging cradles and mobile towers. The use of ladders for this work is prohibited.

3. Workpieces and materials for drainpipes should be stacked within the flooring of the workplace. When working from suspended cradles and self-propelled towers, workpieces and materials must not be fed through window openings and from the roof of the building.

5. Hanging cradles and work platforms of mobile towers must be in a position that ensures the performance of all operations within the workplace.

6. Details of drainpipes are fastened in accordance with the technical instructions for production and acceptance of work. It is forbidden to leave pipe parts without final fixing during short breaks and cessation of work.

7. The compression of the ends of the downpipe sections is carried out in the procurement workshop.

8. It is not allowed to carry out any repair and construction work on the facades of buildings, being in window openings, on balconies and on protruding parts (cornices, belts, etc.).

9. Dismantled old drainpipes must be removed from the aisles and driveways upon completion of work.

10. Before replacing downpipes, it is necessary to check the condition of the old plaster, cladding, stucco and other details. If there is a danger of collapse, the peeled plaster is beaten off.

11. Everyone working from suspension cradles and mobile towers must use safety belts fastened to a safety cable on the block (cradle) or to the railing of the lifting platform (tower).
