Work on wiping windows and walls, as well as performing vacuuming work, is allowed for persons who have been instructed in safe methods and methods of work. 2. Persons who are trained in safe techniques and methods of work and have 1 qualification group for electrical safety are allowed to work with an electric vacuum cleaner. 3. Before starting work on wiping glass, walls, other structures and equipment, a plan for its safe conduct should be drawn up. 4. Before starting work on wiping the glass in the frames, the strength of the fastening of the glass and the frames themselves should be checked. 5. Work areas must be adequately lit. 6. Wiping of plafonds and other electrical fittings suspended from the ceiling should be carried out with the voltage removed and only from sliding ladders or scaffolds. Stepladders must have rubber shoes on the bowstrings, and scaffolding must have railings. It is prohibited to carry out these works from a ladder supported by another worker. 7. Wiping the outer plane of the glazing, washing and wiping glass in blind bindings of glass roofs, lanterns and transoms must be carried out with the obligatory use of a safety belt and a safety rope, which must be fixed to the solid structures of the building. 8. Difficult and dangerous work (near electrical networks, mechanical equipment, at a height of more than 5 m, etc.) must be carried out by qualified workers under the direct supervision of the work foreman. 9. It is strictly forbidden to have conversations between persons working at a height to clean windows. 10. When working on light lanterns, the following rules must be observed: a) when working on lanterns with a large slope, step-ladders with a width of at least 0,5 m should be used with strips sewn on top and long (1,5 - 1 m) transverse battens nailed from below, dispersing the load on the lantern bindings; in the upper part, the stepladder must have hooks for grabbing the lantern by the ridge; b) wiping the lamps from the metal rods of the mechanism for opening the bindings is strictly prohibited; c) wiping lanterns from the roof without the use of safety belts and a safety rope is prohibited. 11. Work at a height above production equipment, as well as over electrical wires, should be carried out from a dense flooring with a width of at least 60 cm, equipped with a railing 1 m high and a board board 15 cm high. 12. Wiping work in rooms where there are electric wires or operating electrical equipment can be carried out only after the electrical installations and electrical networks are turned off, or they are securely covered with wooden shields and boxes and under the supervision of the work foreman (who is entrusted with the management of these works). 13. Cleaning dust from walls, cornices and ceilings must be done from a scaffold, lifting the electric vacuum cleaner to a height must be done with a strong rope. Climbing a ladder or stepladder while holding a vacuum cleaner is prohibited. 14. Vacuum cleaners must be connected to the mains using a power socket. Attaching cords to transitional safety shields, either by throwing or by pressing on the terminals, is prohibited. 15. The cord supplying current to the vacuum cleaner must be enclosed in a rubber tube. 16. Repair of vacuum cleaners, as well as removal of filters from them, can only be carried out when the electric motor is disconnected from the mains.
