Employees not younger than 18 years of age, who have undergone appropriate training, have II electrical safety group and professional skills, before being allowed to work independently, must undergo:
2. Drivers are obliged to comply with labor safety requirements to ensure protection from the impact of hazardous and harmful production factors related to the nature of work:
3. To protect against general industrial pollution and mechanical impacts, drivers are required to use cotton overalls provided by employers free of charge, rubber boots, combined mittens, suits with insulating padding and felt boots for the winter period. Drivers must wear safety helmets when on site. 4. Being on the territory of the construction (production) site, in production and amenity premises, work sites and workplaces, drivers are required to comply with the internal labor regulations adopted in this organization. Admission of unauthorized persons, as well as employees in a state of intoxication to these places is prohibited. 5. In the course of daily activities, drivers must:
6. Drivers are obliged to immediately notify their immediate or superior supervisor of any situation that threatens the life and health of people, about each accident that occurred at work, or about the deterioration of their health, including the appearance of an acute occupational disease (poisoning). Safety requirements before starting work 7. Before starting work, the driver must: a) present to the work manager a certificate of checking the knowledge of safe work methods, receive an assignment and be instructed at the workplace on the specifics of the work performed; b) put on overalls and special footwear of the established sample. 8. After receiving the task, the driver must: a) check the workplace and approaches to it for compliance with safety requirements and remove unnecessary items. In winter, the site where the winch is located must be cleared of snow and ice, and in case of ice - sprinkled with sand; b) make sure that the shields protecting the moving parts of the compressor mechanisms are present and in good condition, check the serviceability of all its pressure gauges and safety valves; 9. After receiving the task, the driver must: a) inspect the workplace and approaches to it for compliance with safety requirements and remove unnecessary items. Make sure that there is a visor that protects the driver's workplace from atmospheric precipitation; b) inspect and check the serviceability of the structure and mechanisms of the winch (housing, gears, bearings, friction clutches, braking device, steel rope); c) check the correct winding of the rope on the drum and make sure it is in good condition according to the standards for rejecting steel ropes; d) make sure that the guards enclosing the gear connections and couplings, as well as the guards of the danger zone arising from the working winch, are in place and in good condition; e) check the presence and serviceability of the grounding of the winch body; f) test the operation of the braking device and make sure that it is in good working order; g) make sure that there is a counterweight or that the winch body is securely fastened to the elements of capital structures. 10. Operation of the winch is not allowed in case of the following violations of safety requirements: a) malfunctions specified in the manufacturer's instructions for the operation of the winch, in which its operation is not allowed; b) untimely technical inspection of the winch; c) clutter or insufficient illumination of the workplace or approaches to it; d) the absence or malfunction of the grounding of the winch body; e) the absence of a fence of the danger zone of the cargo moved by the winch or tensioned cables; e) the absence of a counterweight or winch body fastening; g) rope wear exceeding the safe level of its operation. Detected violations of safety requirements must be eliminated on their own, and if it is impossible to do this, the driver is obliged to report them to the work manager and the person responsible for maintaining the winch in good condition. Safety requirements during work 11. Before starting work, the driver must make sure that there are no unauthorized persons in the work area, as well as obstacles preventing the movement of cargo (machines, equipment, structures or materials). 12. During work, the driver must: a) control the compliance of the strapping of the transported goods with graphic images of the methods of slinging the goods; b) prevent the rope from coming off the blocks and swinging of the transported load; c) raise or lower the load only at the signal of the worker assigned to service the winch. The driver is obliged to carry out the signal "Stop" regardless of who gave it; d) lift only those loads, the weight of which does not exceed the capacity of the winch and which are indicated in the table of masses of transported goods; e) do not allow complete reeling of the rope from the winch drum. The remaining rope on the winch drum must always be at least two turns. 13. During the operation of the winch, the driver is prohibited from: a) leave the winch; b) repair on the go, lubricate or adjust winch mechanisms; c) remove the protective shields protecting the moving parts of the winch; d) transfer control of the winch to an unauthorized person; e) brake the winch drum using devices not provided for by the winch design; f) to correct by hand the winding of the rope on a rotating drum; g) turn on the winch when workers are in the danger zone inside the angle formed by the tight rope and the intermediate block; h) move the cargo in the absence of its direct visibility. In this case, a slinger who performs the duties of an intermediate signalman must be appointed as the head of the work. 14. Repair of the winch, as well as cleaning or lubrication of its mechanisms are allowed only when the power to the drives of its mechanisms is turned off. At the same time, a sign "Do not turn on - people are working!" must be posted on the starting switch. 15. External electrical wiring to the winch must be made with an insulated wire placed on supports at a height of at least 2,5 m above the workplaces, 3,5 m - above the aisles, 6,0 m - above the aisles. The electrician on duty must connect and disconnect the winch. 16. Branch (intermediate) blocks should be fastened to stable structures on the basis of a diagram or flow chart for the installation of a winch. Safety requirements in emergency situations 17. If the cable comes off the block or is wound incorrectly on the drum during winch operation, inspection or testing, the work must be suspended until the malfunctions are eliminated. At the same time, a sign "Do not turn on - people are working!" must be posted on the starting device or the main switch. After troubleshooting the winch, a record of the existing faults and the completeness of their elimination should be made in the shift acceptance log. The resumption of the work of the winch is allowed after the permission of the person responsible for maintaining it in good condition. 18. When an electric current appears on the winch body, immediately turn off the main switch, hang a sign on it "Do not turn it on - people are working!" and call the electrician on duty to troubleshoot. Safety requirements at the end of work 19. At the end of the work, the driver must: a) turn off the power switch, remove the fusible links and lock the protective cover of the switch; b) check the serviceability of the winch and clean the workplace from debris; c) write down in the log of the acceptance and delivery of shifts about malfunctions in the winch; d) inform the work manager and the person responsible for maintaining the winch in good condition about all the problems that have arisen during work.
