These instructions are mandatory for physical education teachers when organizing and conducting educational and extracurricular activities in physical education and sports.

In their practical activities in physical education, physical education teachers must: be guided by these instructions, state acts and documents on labor protection developed by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, and monitor students’ compliance with rules and instructions on labor protection.

A physical education teacher or other person conducting a physical education and sports lesson is responsible for the safety of the life and health of students.

The physical education teacher should:

  • take courses (at least once every 1 years) on labor protection;
  • take part in the testing of gymnastic apparatus and equipment;
  • make proposals to improve the conditions for the educational process;
  • organize the study by students of rules on labor protection at home, etc.

The physical education teacher should know:

  • readiness and functionality of each student;
  • the medical group to which students are assigned based on the results of a medical examination;
  • students released by the doctor from physical exercises after illness;
  • mark students who are absent from the lesson.

2. Safety requirements before the start of classes

The teacher must:

  • conduct instruction (once every six months) for students on occupational safety during training sessions with mandatory registration in the class register or registration of the instruction;
  • provide students with a changing room (separately for boys and girls);
  • make sure that all students have changed, lock the locker rooms with a key;
  • monitor compliance with the rules of behavior of students in the locker rooms;
  • ensure the safe conduct of the educational process;
  • conduct a thorough inspection of the venue;
  • provide security measures when performing physical exercises;
  • check the serviceability of sports equipment, reliability of installation and fastening of equipment;
  • ventilate the room using natural or forced ventilation;
  • in case of insufficient natural light, turn on lighting devices;

  • reduce the load or increase rest time when students show signs of fatigue;
  • provide insurance when students perform complex technical elements;
  • monitor students' compliance with instructions and rules of behavior in physical education lessons and make decisions on removing students from participation in the educational process for gross or systematic violation of them.

4. Safety requirements in case of accidents and extreme situations

The teacher must:

  • If you complain of illness or poor health, immediately refer the student to a doctor;
  • In case of cuts, bruises, dislocations, sprains, fractures, take measures to provide first aid and call an ambulance:
  • cuts - wash the wound with a disinfectant solution, treat the edges with iodine, and apply a bandage. In case of severe bleeding, apply a tourniquet above the site of bleeding or injury. Cover the area where the tourniquet is applied with a layer of gauze. Immediately after application, it should be marked (day, month, hours, minutes). Place a pressure bandage on the wound,
  • bruises - put a cold compress, bandage the site of injury,
  • dislocation - create complete immobility and immediately hospitalize (it is prohibited for a non-specialist to adjust a dislocation),
  • sprain - apply a cold compress to the painful area for 10-15 minutes. If the swelling does not decrease, then change cold compresses every 15 minutes until the swelling decreases. Apply a tight bandage to the limb,
  • fracture - stop the bleeding, apply a splint, covering at least 2 joints above and below the fracture site. Place something soft under the splint, after which it must be bandaged (tightly). Always fix your limbs in the position they are in;

    Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

    In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

    The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

    The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

    Amoeba on a rubber track 04.02.2005

    Pascal Zilbertsan from the Curie Institute (France) was able to measure the force with which the amoeba rests on the substrate during its movement. He drives the protozoa along a rubber track, consisting, like bathroom rugs, of "pimples" one micrometer in diameter and 10 micrometers high.

    By measuring the deflection and deflection of the rubber posts under a microscope, you can calculate how much force is applied to them. It turned out that when crawling, the amoeba almost does not touch the substrate in the middle, leaning on the path mainly with the edges of its iridescent body and pulling itself up with its front end.
