General safety requirements The section is set out independently on the basis of the Standard Instruction "General safety requirements for professions and types of work performed in the field" TOI R-07-001-98, taking into account the specifics of a particular forestry enterprise. 2. Safety requirements before starting work 2.1. Check the completeness, serviceability and put on overalls, safety shoes and safety devices. 2.2. Uncover the ax and other cutting tools used to remove the bast and bark, being careful, check their serviceability. 2.3. Check the serviceability and reliability (correct if necessary) of bridges (descents) near water bodies used for soaking bark when harvesting bast. 2.4. Prepare the workplace by removing objects that interfere with work. 3. Safety requirements during work 3.1. The work is carried out by a team consisting of at least 2 people, one of them is appointed senior. 3.2. When sharpening and dressing a hand tool, it is not allowed to use tools for clamping the tool (vise), to hold the tool on weight or on unstable objects (trunk and branches of a tree). When sharpening and dressing, be careful not to touch the blade with your hands. Do not use your fingers to determine the level of sharpening. 3.3. When making cuts on a tree trunk and removing the bark from growing trees, take a stable position, do not perform these operations while standing on mundane trunks and branches, stumps. When removing bark from mounded trees, pre-fix (stabilize) the trunk with linings. 3.4. When separating the bast and splint from the bark, direct the cutting tool away from you. 3.5. Luboks should be stacked in stacks with a height of no more than 1 m, it is necessary to disassemble the stacks of bast after removing the load, while being careful. 3.6. To lay the bark for soaking, it is necessary to first examine the reservoir, its depth at the place of laying should be no more than 0 m, the places of the reservoir with a depth of more than 5 m are limited to landmarks, the bottom should be flat, without holes. 3.7. The laying of the bark in the reservoir should be carried out using gatherings from poles or plates fitted to each other, not having large distances (so that the leg does not fall through). When laying and sampling the bark, the worker must wear high rubber boots (brodni). 3.8. All work to be carried out outside the dangerous call of felling trees and other dangerous areas. 4. Safety requirements in emergency situations 4.1. Stop work when the wind speed is more than 11 m/s, in heavy rain, thick fog (visibility less than 50 m). 4.2. During a thunderstorm, stop work, take a safe place in a clearing, an area of deciduous young growth, between trees growing at a distance of 20 m from each other, in the mountains and hilly terrain closer to the middle of the slope, if possible, settle down on insulating material (dry deadwood, moss, birch bark), remove metal objects, machines and mechanisms from yourself. It is forbidden during a thunderstorm: to be in motion, on top of a mountain, hill, edge of a forest; stop at streams, rivers, lakes; hide under separate trees, rocks, stones, lean against them; stand near and under power lines, at triangulation signs, other towers and signs, closer than 10 m from machines and mechanisms. 4.3. In the event of a forest fire, take measures to extinguish the fire on your own, if possible, give information to the forestry, forestry or other organization, enterprise or population. If it is impossible to extinguish the fire and threat to life, take personal safety measures and leave the place of ignition. Do the same in case of any other danger (environmental, natural disaster, radiation, chemical hazard) that threatens people's lives. 4.4. In the event of an accident, provide the victim with first aid, if necessary, take measures to deliver him to a medical facility, inform the work manager about the incident, and, if possible, preserve the situation of the incident. 5. Safety requirements at the end of work 5.1. Clean, put in order the tools, equipment, mechanisms, place them for storage in the designated places. 5.2. Remove uniforms, overalls and footwear, clean and free them from dust, and store them. 5.3. Make sure that there is no encephalitis tick, if present, remove it. 5.4. Perform hygienic procedures, when working in the zone of radiation contamination, perform the prescribed procedures. 5.5.
