of the equipment used, who have received the permission of the foreman or the head of the workshop for the right to work independently and who have been instructed at the workplace.

1.3. During work, you need to be attentive, not be distracted by extraneous affairs and conversations, and not distract others.

1.4. Dangerous places of the electric iron are:

  • heated surface of the iron;
  • press pillow while driving;
  • steam line, suitable steam to the steam press.

1.5. Conductive contacts of irons must have special protective devices.

1 6. Cords supplying electric current to the iron must be enclosed in rubber hoses.

1.7. Handles of irons should be made of materials that do not conduct current, poorly conduct heat, polished.

1.8. Stands for irons and should be flush with the workpieces and have sides on three sides.

1.9. Knife switches at the workplace of the ironer must be closed with removable insulated covers.

1.10. The suspension device for electrical wiring supplying power to the electric iron must exclude the possibility of contact between current-carrying wires and the hot surface of the iron and the stand; power must be supplied through isolating transformers.

1.11. To protect hands from falling between the cushions of the press, it should be closed only when pressing the buttons (levers, etc.) with both hands and holding them until the press is completely closed.

1.12. The distance between the starting buttons (levers) should be such that it is impossible to close the press with one hand.

1.13. The presses must have a safety device to keep the top cushions from falling in the event of malfunctions.

1.14. The laying of the heating element inside the press pads must exclude the current short circuit to the body.

1.15. It is forbidden to work on presses with the casing, electrical panel and removable guards of the press mechanism removed.

1.16. Ironing presses must have devices that regulate and maintain a constant heating temperature.

1.17. Wet heat treatment equipment that uses pressurized steam during operation must be equipped with a safety valve.

1.18. Steam distribution devices and pipelines in accessible places of the press must be thermally insulated and covered with protective covers.

1.19. Repair work on the hydraulic press can only be carried out with the vapor and liquid pressure removed.

1.20. Hydraulic pipeline networks, pipelines, working hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic and pneumatic accumulator devices, mechanical pressure parts (traverses and all devices and their fastenings) must correspond to the power and meet the requirements of the technical specifications.

1.21. For devices for unit-by-unit processing of clothing parts with thermoplastic glue, mounted on ironing presses or having mechanical devices for molding with pillows, moving irons equipped with heating elements using steam and current, as well as for various bending presses and other equipment, technical safety rules must be observed. formulated in this manual.

1.22. These devices must also have locking devices that exclude the possibility of switching them on in case of unpreparedness for the operation of the machine (protective stops are not folded back, irons or templates for preliminary formation are not removed, etc.).

2. Labor protection requirements before starting work

2 1. Before starting work on presses and electric irons:

  • make sure that the clothes are in good condition, fasten it with all buttons. Remove hair under a headdress;
  • check your workplace. Make sure it is adequately lit and not cluttered;
  • check the reliability of fastening the ground wire and the absence of bare wires;
  • check the insulation of the steam pipeline and not let steam through on the squeegees, couplings, valves and other connecting parts;
  • check that the press is switched on by simultaneously pressing both start buttons. Make sure that the blocking and disconnecting devices of the press, its fences are in good condition;
  • check the serviceability of the press pads (the top one should be without scratches, the bottom one should be smooth, well covered with felt and linen);
  • check whether control and measuring devices (pressure gauges, thermometers) give readings.

2.2. Check the serviceability of the iron and its compliance with the following requirements:

  • the handle of the iron must be tightly attached to the base of the iron;
  • the safety terminal box must be tightly tightened with screws;
  • the cord must be enclosed in insulating material;
  • plug contacts must be tightly screwed and clean from carbon deposits;
  • the socket outlet must be tightly closed so that it is impossible to touch its contacts.

2.3. The floor in the workplace must be dry and free of metal parts.

2.4. If necessary, lay a rubber mat on the working place.

3. Labor protection requirements during work

3.1. When working on the press, use a rubber mat. This protects against electric shock.

3.2. Lay products on the bottom cushion, adjust the styling carefully, avoiding touching the hot surfaces of the cushions.

3.3. Having finished pressing the products, remove it from the press only after the full opening of the press cushions. This will prevent injury to the hands in case of accidental closing of the pillows,

3.4. Do not wet the ironing surface of the pad with a spray gun to avoid steam burns.

3.5. Do not lean over the pillows while they are moving.

3.6. Watch the instrument readings. When changing the mode, stop work and inform the master.

3.7. After pressing, fold the products away from the press. Do not obstruct access to the launcher.

3.8. Do not open or remove guards and safety devices while the press is in operation. This can be done with the engine off and the press pads completely cooled down.

3.18. Place the iron during operation only on special stands (metal with an insulating gasket).

3.19. It is forbidden to hit the iron on the table, the metal part of the iron is loosened and the electric element can connect with the iron body, which can lead to electric shock.

3.20. If the electric iron becomes excessively hot, then it must be turned off immediately, and it must be cooled only on a damp cloth.

3.21. Do not pour water over the electric iron, as water is a good conductor of electricity and this can lead to electric shock.

3.22. It is necessary at all times to ensure that the current-carrying wire does not touch the electric iron, as this can lead to a violation of the insulation of the electrical wire.

3.23. When working on an electric iron, you must not spray the product with your mouth; for this purpose, use a pulverizer.

3.24. To avoid fire, do not leave the electric iron unattended, be sure to turn it off when absent.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Cleaning robot 10.02.2001

In many supermarkets in Holland, robotic cleaners are constantly roaming the trading floor, sweeping and washing the floors. A robot about a meter high independently bypasses obstacles, and if the buyer interferes with the passage, he politely asks him to step aside.

Such machines are produced by the Dutch branch of the German company Siemens.
