General safety requirements 1.1. This instruction was developed on the basis of GOST 12.3.009-76 (SSBT. Loading and unloading works. General safety requirements.), GOST 12.3.020-80 (SSBT. Processes for moving goods at the enterprise) and contains requirements that ensure the safety of work for utility transport workers at work, and also sets out the rules of conduct for a worker in the workshop and on the territory of the plant, introduces certain provisions of labor protection legislation. 1.2. The instruction applies to an auxiliary transport worker who performs transportation on a hand truck and manually transfers various goods around the enterprise, as well as loading and unloading electric carts and cars with materials, parts and products. 1.3. Persons at least 18 years of age who have passed a medical examination, training, instructions on labor protection and have passed an exam with the assignment of a qualified rank are allowed to work independently as an auxiliary transport worker. 1.4. Do only the work that is given to you by the master, and on the condition that you know the safe ways to do it. 1.5. Work only in serviceable personal protective equipment (in neatly tucked overalls), provided for by the Model Industry Standards for this profession:

Before starting work, get instructions from the foreman on safe ways to perform the assigned work. 2.2. Before work, put on overalls and other personal protective equipment (mittens, cotton suit, etc.). Permanently engaged in outdoor work in winter should wear additionally: a cotton jacket with an insulated lining, cotton trousers with an insulated lining. When loading and unloading building materials, as well as filling containers with construction debris, auxiliary transport workers must wear: cotton overalls with a dust-proof hood, closed goggles, and a respirator. 2.3. Prepare the workplace for work, free up aisles, remove unnecessary items so that the floor around the workplace is flat and non-slip. If the floor is covered with oil, emulsion, demand that it be sprinkled with sawdust or do it yourself (cleaning them should only be done using a brush and dustpan). 2.4. Prepare your tools (hook, crowbar, ramp, etc.) and devices (ladder, stepladder, cart, shoe, etc.) for work, make sure they are in good condition. Do not use faulty and random means of work (tools, devices). 2.5. Do not work independently on an electric car, electric loader, car, crane and other mechanisms if you do not have an appropriate certificate for this. 2.6. In case of violation of the stacking of various goods and in the unstable position of the racks, do not proceed with their analysis, inform the foreman and do not proceed to this assigned work until they are eliminated and the instructions of the foreman. 2.7. About all noticed malfunctions that are dangerous for work, about serious damage to containers, scaffolding, tools, slings, GZP, GPM, flyovers, racks, carts, stepladders, ladders, etc. do not start working with these tools. 3. Safety requirements during work. 3.1. When carrying, transporting goods, choose a smooth, free, short path, do not walk on the packed loads. 3.2. Carrying loads of more than 50 kg by one worker is prohibited. If the weight of the load is up to 50 kg, then lifting it onto the back of the worker and removing it must be done with the help of other workers. 3.3. When moving a load weighing more than 50 kg, use carts and PMGs. At the same time, the load should be laid evenly, carefully, in order to prevent the trolley and load from tipping over. When using the GPM, follow the instructions for labor protection. 3.4. When moving goods on your hands, carts and stretchers, you must warn the people in front of your intention to overtake them, and also do not run across the road in front of moving vehicles. 3.5. The foreman appoints a senior during the work of several auxiliary transport workers who fulfill all the requirements and commands of the senior. 3.6. In the case of transferring the load by a stretcher, the front worker begins to raise the handles, the command to lower the load is given by the rear worker. The front worker begins to lower the stretcher, and only after he has taken his hands out from under the handles of the stretcher, does the back worker lower his load. When carrying a load on a stretcher, do not keep pace with a friend. 3.7. When tilting and rolling the load, stand behind or to the side of it. 3.8. When carrying long objects by several workers, it is necessary that the load rest on the shoulders of the same name, keep pace and drop the load only on command from behind the carrier. 3.9. Place the load only on the flat place allotted for it, do not obstruct the driveways and passages to fire engines. 3.10. If unauthorized persons appear in the work area (tilting, rolling, stacking, unloading, loading and transporting), immediately stop work and continue working only after leaving the danger zone of unauthorized persons. 3.11. Do not place parts in a container above its sides. 3.12. Carry out loading and unloading from the machine only if it is on the brakes. 3.13. Carry out loading and unloading of goods from the car using the GLM, ladders, stepladders or a specially designed overpass (when loading and unloading, it is forbidden to be in the back of the car). 3.14. Stow the load firmly so that it cannot fall or break the sides during transport. When stacking loads that can roll, it is necessary to place shoes designed for this purpose under them. 3.15. When used in the transport of goods on a trolley, follow the appropriate rules for use for this specific trolley. 3.16. Once loading is complete, secure the load securely. Unload parts, metal, etc. from carts, electric carts and machines, as well as stacks, start from above. 3.17. Give way to a person carrying a heavier load when oncoming traffic. 4.
