Safe Operation

1. General safety requirements

1.1. Persons at least 18 years of age, of any gender, who have previously undergone a medical examination, as well as introductory instructions on occupational safety and fire and explosion safety, on-the-job instruction and appropriate training in the profession at a training center, who have completed an internship under the guidance of a foreman or an experienced worker with work experience, are allowed to work as a grain grower. at least 3 years within 12-15 shifts, having permission to work independently after an internship, certified in TB, having a TB certificate.

1.2. The grain grower is obliged to comply with the internal labor regulations of the plant and to exclude the use of alcohol, narcotic and toxic substances. Smoking is permitted only in specially designated areas outside industrial buildings and structures. The employee must know and comply with safety requirements when using the elevator. When walking on stairs, you must hold on to the railings. Observe safety precautions while on site.

1.3. During the work process, the grain grower may be exposed to dangerous and harmful production factors:

• rotating drive parts;
• moving sieve cases;
• eccentric oscillator;
• increased voltage of electric current;
• static electricity;
• the possibility of an explosion or fire.

1.4. According to standard industry standards, the grocer is provided with special clothing: a cotton suit, a cotton helmet, leather boots (men) or cloth boots (women), noise-preventing headphones, a cotton cotton jacket.

1.5. The grocer works under the direct supervision of the shift foreman and carries out his orders clearly and in a timely manner.

1.6. To ensure fire and explosion safety, the grain grower monitors the operating mode of the equipment (heating temperature of the bearings, support of the sieve machines with product, ingress of foreign objects, dust, extraneous knocking).

1.7. The grain worker must report all cases of injury to the shift foreman or shop manager, take measures to assist the injured person, and, if necessary, call an ambulance by calling 03 or contacting the health center (tel. _______).

1.8. The crouper must have practical skills in providing first aid to the victim: be able to stop bleeding, apply bandages to wounds or burned areas, bring the victim to consciousness, and perform artificial respiration.

1.9. If malfunctions are detected, the grain worker is obliged to stop the winch and report to the shift foreman.

1.10. The employee is obliged to know and comply with the requirements of this instruction, the rules of personal hygiene, and the correct use of overalls and PPE.

1.11. The employee is responsible for violating the requirements of these instructions in the manner established by the internal labor regulations of the plant and current legislation.

2. Safety requirements before starting work.

2.1. When starting work, the grain grower must put on overalls, carefully tuck them in, avoiding any loose ends, tuck his hair under his headdress, and wear comfortable, closed-toed shoes without heels.

2.2. The grain operator must familiarize himself with the results of the previous shift, find out all the existing technical problems in the operation of the equipment and their causes.

2.3. Carefully inspect the workplace and check whether there are any foreign objects in the workplace, whether the passages are clear, the serviceability of equipment, electrical lighting, aspiration, the presence of equipment grounding, the necessary equipment (scrapers for cleaning gravity flows and sieves), check the presence and serviceability of fences, make sure that electrical equipment is in good condition , signaling devices, drives mounted on the machine.

2.4. Before starting the lifts, you should make sure that there are no foreign objects, tools or devices on the equipment.

2.5. When starting remotely, when you hear a beep, move away to a safe distance.

2.6. It is necessary to make sure that the eccentric oscillator rotates evenly without bumps or knocks, and that the drive belts do not slip.

2.7. In the event of a malfunction, inform the shift foreman and act on his instructions.

2.8. Comply with industrial hygiene requirements at the workplace.

3. Safety requirements during work

3.1. During operation, it is necessary to monitor the uniform flow of product into and out of the machine.

3.2. Do not allow the product to spill around the machine, regularly clean the equipment elements from settled dust only when it is stopped. Monitor and ensure the tightness of hatches and connections.

3.3. If the machine collapses, stop feeding the product, identify and eliminate the reasons that have slowed down the movement of the product. To clean gravity drains, use special scrapers with limited movement and remove any product that has fallen on the floor.

3.4. The employee must maintain the workplace in proper order and ensure that the fabric sleeves on the exhaust pipes are present and in good condition.

3.5. Do not block passages to control panels and exits from the premises.

3.6. During work, remove dust from the outside and remove debris in a timely manner.

3.7. To avoid injury, do not remove drive guards while the machine is operating, turn on the machine with the guard removed, or stand on a running machine.

3.8. When cleaning the suction ducts, it is strictly forbidden to stand on the horizontal sections of the ducts, to attach ladders to them.

4. Safety requirements in emergency situations

4.1. In the event of dangerous pre-emergency situations (the smell of a heated product, burning, smoke, foreign objects getting into the equipment, blockage of equipment with a product, etc.), all technological, transport and aspiration equipment must be stopped and carefully checked. It can be launched only after the causes of the problems have been identified and eliminated.

4.2. Emergencies or accidents can lead to:

• the appearance of extraneous sounds;
• operation of a sieve machine without a fence;
• ingress of foreign objects into the working area;
• violation of tightness of joints and increased dust emission;
• sparking or ignition of electrical equipment and wiring;
• heating of the bearing housing;
• backing up the machine with a product;
• increased heating of the electric motor.

4.3. In the event of an emergency, the grain grower is obliged to stop the sifter, inform the shift foreman and take measures to eliminate the above malfunctions.

4.4. In the event of a fire or explosion, the grower must:

• by pressing the button of the manual fire detector (IPR) inform the duty officer about the accident;
• by pressing the sound signal button, notify all service personnel about the accident;
• switch off the technological, transport and aspiration equipment with the emergency stop button;
• if necessary, proceed with the liquidation of the accident;
• report to the fire and watch guard of the plant by phone _______;
• start extinguishing the fire with the available fire extinguishing means;
• If necessary, provide first aid to the victim: artificial respiration, applying bandages to the wound, tourniquets indicating the time for bleeding and, if necessary, call an ambulance by calling 03;
• in the event of a threat to life, leave the premises.

4.5. In case of injury or sudden illness, the employee must inform the shift foreman and contact the health center.

5. Safety requirements at the end of work

5.1. Report all detected safety violations to the shift foreman or shop manager.

5.2. At the end of the shift, the employee must tidy up his workplace, using long-handled brushes and other equipment for safe work.

5.3. Transfer the workplace, tools and fixtures to the shifter, informing him of the malfunctions that have arisen, comments during work and the measures taken to eliminate them.

5.4. Before changing into personal clothes, take a hygienic shower, put the overalls in the wardrobe.

5.5. It is not allowed to remain in the workshop or on the territory of the plant after the end of the shift without the knowledge of the shift foreman or the head of the workshop.
