Safe Operation

1. General requirements for labor protection

Persons at least 18 years old, of any gender, who have previously passed a medical examination, as well as introductory briefing on labor protection and fire safety, briefing at the workplace and appropriate training in the profession in a training plant, who have undergone an internship under the guidance of a shift supervisor or a skilled worker with at least 3 years of work experience for at least 12 shifts, who have access to independent work.

The employee must:

• comply with the internal labor regulations of the organization;
• know and comply with the requirements of this manual;
• know how to provide first aid in case of accidents;
• know and follow the rules of personal hygiene;
• be careful when walking on stairs, while on the territory of the organization;
• comply with fire safety requirements, know the procedure in case of fire, be able to use primary fire extinguishing means;
• immediately inform the immediate supervisor of any situation that threatens the life or health of workers and others, every accident that occurred at work, malfunction of equipment, tools, devices, vehicles, protective equipment, or deterioration of one's health;
• perform only assigned work;
• correctly use the personal protective equipment (PPE) provided to him.

An employee is not allowed to perform work while intoxicated or in a state caused by the use of narcotic drugs, psychotropic or toxic substances, as well as drink alcoholic beverages, use narcotic drugs, psychotropic or toxic substances at the workplace or during working hours.

Smoking is allowed only in specially designated areas.

When servicing mill equipment, workers may be exposed to the following hazards and hazards:

• production factors:
• rotating mechanisms;
• increased voltage of electric current;
• static electricity;
• the possibility of an explosion or fire;
• increased dust and noise.

According to the standard industry standards for the free issuance of overalls and personal protective equipment (PPE), the AMP provides:

• cotton suit;
• leather boots;
• cotton helmet;
• headphones or earplugs.

The AMP works under the direct supervision of the shift supervisor, fulfills his orders clearly and in a timely manner.

To ensure fire and explosion safety, AMB is obliged to monitor the operation mode of the equipment (heating temperature of bearings, electric motors, parallelism of roller shafts, machine support by product, ingress of foreign objects, presence of water for cooling, tension of drive belts and their completeness).

The employee is responsible for violation of the requirements of this instruction in the manner prescribed by the Internal Labor Regulations of the organization and the current legislation.

2. Requirements for labor protection before starting work

Getting to work, the AMP must put on overalls, carefully tuck them in, avoiding hanging ends, remove the hair under the headdress, shoes should be comfortable, closed, without heels.

The employee must familiarize himself with the results of the previous shift, find out all the existing technical problems in the operation of the equipment, carefully inspect the workplace and check if there are any foreign objects at the workplace, whether the passages are free, the lighting, aspiration, grounding connections are in good condition, the necessary equipment, tools, fixtures.

Check the serviceability of the equipment, the temperature of the bearings, electric motors, the presence and serviceability of the drive guards. External inspection to check the serviceability of electrical equipment, signaling equipment, serviceability of electric lighting, grounding facilities, aspiration networks.

When starting remotely, upon hearing a sound signal, close the doors and hatches, do not touch rotating parts and remove your hands from the danger zone of the equipment.

In the event of a malfunction, report it to the shift supervisor and act on his instructions.

3. Requirements for labor protection when performing work

Keep the workplace in good order.

During the operation of the machines, remove dust from the outside, remove blockages in a timely manner.

Do not open the doors and hatches of the equipment unnecessarily and prevent dust emissions into the room.

Take samples of the product using a scoop with a dielectric handle.

It is not allowed to clean and remove the guards for feeding products from the feed rollers to the working area during the operation of the roller machine, and also to pick up foreign objects that have fallen into the machine with your hands. In case of hitting such objects, it is necessary to switch off the machine immediately and remove them after the machine has come to a complete stop. The doors and hatches of the machine must be closed and prevent dust from entering the room.

If the parallelism of the shafts is violated, if the rolls are supported by the product, if the product does not enter the machine, it is necessary to stop the roller machine and troubleshoot. For internal cleaning use only a special hook.

Maintenance, cleaning and repairs must not be carried out while the equipment is in operation or unless the equipment is locked from accidental activation (three-position switch set to "0").

During operation, it is necessary to monitor the uniform flow of product into the sieve machine.

Do not allow spillage of the product around the machine, regularly clean the elements of the equipment from settled dust only during a stop. Control and ensure the tightness of hatches and connections.

The worker must maintain the workplace in proper order and monitor the presence and serviceability of fabric sleeves on the outlet pipes.

When cleaning the suction ducts, it is not allowed to stand on the horizontal sections of the ducts and attach ladders to them.

AMP must clean magnets from metal impurities at least once per shift. Cleaning should be done in gloves with a hand brush in the opposite direction from the eyes.

Metal impurities collected in a special box must be handed over to the laboratory, and data on the amount and nature of metal impurities must be recorded in a journal.

The sieving machine must rotate evenly without knocks or bumps, the drive belts must not slip, the cables must have the same tension.

Monitor the uniform flow of the product into the receiving nozzles of the sifters and the output of the product, monitor the reliable fastening of the fabric sleeves, the tightness of their connections.

Avoid spillage of the product around the sifter, regularly clean the equipment from settled dust (during shutdown).

Do not stop the sieving, which is working normally during the run-up period, and also do not turn on the sieving again if it has not completely stopped. When knocking down from the normal course or the appearance of knocks in the sieving, it is stopped by stopping the supply of the product.

During operation, do not obstruct passages, access to control panels and exits from the premises.

4. Requirements for labor protection at the end of work

Report all detected violations of labor protection to the shift supervisor or the head of the mill.

At the end of the shift, the employee must tidy up his workplace, using long-handled brushes and other equipment for safe work.

Remove overalls and PPE in the cloakroom.

Take a hygienic shower before changing into personal clothes.

It is not allowed to remain in the workshop or on the territory of the organization after the end of the shift without the knowledge of the head of the mill.

5. Requirements for labor protection in emergency situations

In the event of dangerous pre-emergency situations (the smell of a heated product, burning, smoke, foreign objects getting into the equipment, blockage of equipment with a product, etc.), all process equipment must be stopped and carefully checked. It can be launched only after the causes of the problems have been identified and eliminated.

Emergencies or accidents can lead to:

• ingress of foreign objects into the working area;
• the appearance of extraneous sounds during the operation of machines;
• the presence of electricity voltage on the machine body;
• damage, sparking or ignition of the wiring;
• getting into the danger zone or grabbing hands, clothes of people;
• vibration of the machine, electric motor, pipelines;
• blockage of the machine with a product;
• bearing temperatures above 60°C.

In the event of an emergency situation, the IPA is obliged to stop the equipment and take measures to eliminate the above situations.

In the event of a fire or explosion, the AMS must:

• by pressing the button of the manual fire detector (IPR) inform the duty officer about the accident;
• by pressing the sound signal button, notify all service personnel about the accident;
• switch off the technological, transport and aspiration equipment with the emergency stop button;
• report to the guard guard of the organization by phone _______;
• start extinguishing the fire with the available fire extinguishing means;
• if necessary, provide first aid to the victim: make artificial respiration, apply a bandage on the wound, tourniquets indicating the time for bleeding and, if necessary, call an ambulance by phone 103;
• in the event of a threat to life, leave the premises.

In case of injury or sudden illness, the victim must inform the shift supervisor and contact the first-aid post.
