Rules for the technical operation of irrigation and drainage systems and other water facilities;
Decrees, regulations, orders, orders of governing bodies and other methodological and regulatory materials for the technical operation of water facilities;
Requirements of environmental, sanitary authorities to prevent damage to the environment;
fundamentals of geodesy, hydrology and hydrogeology, hydraulic engineering and hydraulics, economics and organization of production, management of technological processes of production;
rules and norms of labor protection, industrial sanitation, fire protection
life safety and systems protection in case of emergencies;
procedure for planning repair and maintenance work;
technical characteristics, design features and modes of operation of reclamation facilities, prospects for their development.

Qualification requirements:

Basic or incomplete higher education in the direction of training "Water resources" (technical) education:

for a bachelor - no requirements for work experience;
for a junior specialist - work experience as a hydraulic engineer - at least 1 year.

II. Official duties

Technologist-hydraulic engineer performs the following job responsibilities:

Organizes the implementation of technological processes during the creation and operation of elements of water management networks and structures:

conducts preparation of production and ensures the implementation of technological processes;
conducts tests and measurements of the main parameters of technological processes and checks their compliance with design parameters and standards;
organizes the performance of work on the creation of elements of water management networks and structures;
develops and brings production tasks to units and teams and ensures their implementation;
develops and draws up information and reporting documentation, makes proposals for the preparation of defective statements and changes in technical passports, draws up primary estimate and as-built documentation and reporting.

Ensures the functioning of elements of water management networks and structures: organizes current and emergency repairs of elements of water management networks and structures; ensures the preparation of elements of water management networks and structures, machines, mechanisms and equipment for work; promptly adjusts plans for water treatment, water supply and sanitation; carries out technical operation of elements of water management networks and structures; ensures the rational distribution of water in the network between users and the operation of technological equipment.
Carries out input, operational quality control of elements of water management networks and structures, performs a survey of the technical condition of elements of water management networks and structures, renders failures and damages, develops measures for their prevention and elimination, improvement or reconstruction; conducts observations of the impact of water management networks and structures on the state of the environment; conducts control and gives conclusions on the compliance of materials, products and designs with technical documentation in production; determines quantitative indicators of the quality of technological processes, technical solutions; conducts step-by-step quality control of the work performed during the creation and functioning of elements of water management networks and structures; gives an assessment of the quality of elements of water management networks and structures, the technological process.
Monitors compliance with sanitary and hygienic requirements and labor protection requirements, participates in the investigation of accidents and accidents; defines potentially hazardous areas of production, types of production processes and elements of the natural environment that can create a threat of emergency situations.
Provides protection in case of an emergency: organizes individual protection using personal and improvised means, evacuation of the personnel of the object of shelter of the personnel of the object from the danger zone, conducts rescue urgent emergency and recovery work, organizes actions to prevent or reduce the level of probable damage to water facilities.

III. Rights

Technologist-hydraulic engineer has the right:

Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the management of the enterprise regarding its activities.
Participate in the discussion of issues related to the performance of his duties.
Make suggestions for improving the work related to the provisions of this instruction.
Within the limits of his competence, inform his immediate supervisor about all those identified in the course of his activities, and make proposals for their elimination.
Require the management of the enterprise to assist in the performance of their duties.

IV. A responsibility

The hydraulic engineer is responsible

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties, as well as for non-use or directly to their rights provided for by this Job Description - to the extent determined by the current legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor legislation on labor of Ukraine.
