Before starting the engine, it is necessary to check the lubricating oil level in the crankcase, fuel and water filling. The asphalt paver must be braked, the clutch lever must be turned off, and the gear shift lever must be placed in neutral. 2.6. Do not start an overheated engine to avoid kickback. 3. Safety requirements during work 3.1. While the asphalt paver is moving, do not sit or stand on the frame, get out of the machine or climb onto it until it comes to a complete stop. 3.2. When operating a heated screed plate, the nozzle should only be ignited with a torch with a handle at least 1,5 m long and should not touch the heated casing above the screed plate. 3.3. It is forbidden to approach the chamber during the operation of the nozzle. 3.4. It is prohibited to clean the mechanisms and components of the asphalt paver from adhering asphalt concrete mixture until the engine is completely stopped. 3.5. When loading the bunker with hot mixture, it is prohibited to stand near the side walls of the bunker. 3.6. When laying an asphalt concrete mixture with two asphalt pavers, the distance between them must be at least 10 m, between the asphalt paver and the road roller - at least 3 m. 3.7. If it is necessary to stop the asphalt paver on the road during the day, it should be protected with a barrier fence and the necessary road signs installed. Before the onset of darkness in all cases, the asphalt paver must be taken outside the boundaries of the highway. 4. Safety requirements for the maintenance and repair of the asphalt paver 4.1. It is prohibited to carry out maintenance or repair work on the asphalt paver while the engine is running, except when adjusting it. 4.2. An asphalt paver placed for maintenance and repair must first be cleaned of dirt and dust. 4.3. When maintaining the asphalt paver, it is necessary to take measures against its arbitrary movement, for which you should place linings (shoes) under the tracks (wheels) and turn off the mechanical controls. 4.4. The water level in the radiator should be checked at low engine speeds. Do not open the radiator cap of an overheated engine without gloves, or bend over the filler neck. 4.5. Lifting equipment and tools used during maintenance and repair of the asphalt paver must be in good working order and suitable for the nature of the work being performed. It is prohibited to use faulty lifting equipment, tools and devices. 4.6. During disassembly and folding of components and assemblies, it is necessary to use special pullers and keys. Nuts that are difficult to remove must first be moistened with kerosene, and then unscrewed with a wrench. It is forbidden to unscrew the nuts with a chisel and hammer. 4.7. During installation and dismantling work, it is necessary to take measures against falling parts, assemblies and tools. During a break and after finishing work, parts and assemblies must not be left hanging. 4.8. When folding machine components and assemblies, the convergence of holes in the connected parts must be checked with beads or mounting hooks. Do not check the alignment of holes with your fingers. 4.9. When working together with an electric welder, you must use safety glasses and gloves. 4.10. All repair work at night should be carried out with sufficient artificial lighting, as well as with the use of portable electric lamps with a voltage of no more than 24 V. 5. Safety requirements after finishing work 5.1. After finishing the work, the driver must put the machine in place, turn off the engine, turn off the clutch, stop the fuel supply, brake the asphalt paver, and remove the starting devices. 5.2. The driver must report all malfunctions identified during inspection and during operation of the asphalt paver to the mechanic. 5.3. The asphalt paver mechanism must be lubricated in accordance with the instructions, the tools and cleaning material must be placed in special boxes. 5.4. At the end of the work, the asphalt paver driver must take off his overalls, clean them of dust, bitumen and other dirt and put them in the designated storage area. Then wash your face and hands with warm water and soap or take a shower. 6. Safety requirements in emergency situations 6.1. You should stop working if you notice suspicious noises, crackling, grinding or other unusual phenomena in the engine or chassis of the asphalt paver and take corrective action. 6.2. If a leak is detected in tanks, fuel and oil lines, it should be eliminated immediately. Wipe spills dry. 6.3. When handing over the asphalt paver to a replacement or mechanic, it is necessary to warn him about all noticed malfunctions. 6.4. In the event of a fire, immediately remove people to a safe distance and take extinguishing measures. 6.5. If it is impossible to extinguish the fire on your own, you must call the nearest fire brigade. 6.6. The driver must be able to provide first aid in the event of an accident. 6.7. If it is impossible to move beyond the boundaries of the highway before dark, the asphalt paver is stopped on the side of the road and a barrier fence with four red lights is installed at a distance of 20 m. 7.
