I. General Provisions

The locksmith for the operation and repair of underground gas pipelines of the _______ branch is appointed and dismissed by order of the head of the _______ branch on the proposal of the head of the group for servicing gas pipelines and structures on them.
The locksmith for the operation and repair of underground gas pipelines is directly subordinate to the foreman for the operation of gas facilities equipment.
In his work, a mechanic for the operation and repair of underground gas pipelines is guided by:

Regulations on the group for the maintenance of gas pipelines, structures on them, communal facilities and VBGO;
Rules for the safety of gas supply systems of Ukraine;
Labor protection instructions;
Production instruction for the maintenance of external gas pipelines;
Law of Ukraine "On labor protection";
Production instruction.

Must know:

composition and rules for the technical operation of gas equipment of residential buildings, household facilities, boiler houses.
Regulations on the maintenance of intra-house gas supply systems for residential buildings, residential buildings, public buildings, utility and household enterprises.
Rules for the safety of gas supply systems in Ukraine in the scope of work performed.
construction of gas equipment automation.
Regulations on the "Group for the maintenance of gas pipelines, structures on them, communal facilities and VBGO".
Production instructions.

Persons at least 18 years of age who have undergone special training, medical examination and have passed an exam on knowledge of labor protection regulations and PBSGU are allowed to work as a mechanic for the operation and repair of underground gas pipelines.

II. Official duties

The locksmith for the operation and repair of underground gas pipelines is obliged to:

Perform a bypass of the routes of underground and aboveground gas pipelines in accordance with the approved routes.
During the rounds, pay attention to the presence of corrosion on the gas pipelines-inlets at their exit from the ground, to the state of the insulation.
Check for gas leaks at shut-off devices and insulating flange connections. If a gas leak is detected, take appropriate measures to eliminate it.
After checking the inputs, make notes with chalk on the inputs about the date of verification.
The presence of leakage on gas pipelines and disconnecting devices is checked by washing with a soapy emulsion.
Report violations and deficiencies found during rounds in daily reports to the foreman for the operation of gas facility equipment.
Inspect gas wells, conduct air sampling.
Perform preventive maintenance and current repairs of gas networks and facilities on them in accordance with the approved schedules.
Check the condition of the sealing of the engineering communications in the building.
Conduct a targeted technical inspection of gas pipelines with a service life of more than 25 years, as well as gas pipelines passing through railways and water barriers.
Inspect the state of the terrain along the gas pipeline route in order to identify soil collapses, its erosion by melt and rain waters; clean carpet well covers from dirt and snow.
Perform constant monitoring of the state of the protected zone of gas pipelines. Detection is not agreed with _______ branch of land and construction works, which are carried out in a 15-meter zone from the gas pipeline. Immediately report all identified violations to the foreman for the operation of gas facility equipment, and, if necessary, prohibit the performance of work.
If necessary, participate as part of a group for a comprehensive instrumental survey (KPO) of underground gas pipelines in order to check and correct route maps, apply gas pipeline bindings to permanent landmarks, and check security zones.
Follow the orders of the master for the operation of equipment of gas facilities.
Observe labor and production discipline.
Comply with the requirements of regulatory documents on labor protection.

III. Rights

A locksmith for the operation and repair of underground gas pipelines has the right to:

give assignments to subordinate employees, tasks on a range of issues included in his functional duties;
control the fulfillment of production tasks, the timely execution of individual orders by employees subordinate to him;
to request and receive the necessary materials and documents related to the issues of their activities and activities of employees subordinate to him;
interact with other services of the enterprise on production and other issues that are part of its functional duties;
get acquainted with the draft decisions of the company's management regarding the activities of the Division;
propose for consideration by the manager proposals for improving the work related to the duties provided for in this Job Description;
submit for consideration by the head of the proposal on the promotion of distinguished employees, the imposition of penalties on violators of production and labor discipline;
report to the manager on all identified violations and shortcomings in connection with the work performed.

IV. A responsibility

The locksmith for the operation and repair of underground gas pipelines is responsible

for violation of the requirements of the production instructions and instructions for labor protection;
for violation of normative acts on labor protection;
for violation of labor and production discipline;
for untimely and poor-quality submission of a daily report on the work done;
for failure to comply with the orders of the master for the operation of equipment of gas facilities.
