I. General Provisions

  1. The boilermaker belongs to the category of workers.
  2. The boiler worker is appointed to the position and dismissed from it by order on the proposal of _______.
  3. A person who has a secondary vocational education and work experience in the specialty for at least years is appointed to the position of a boilermaker.
  4. The boiler worker is guided in his labor activity by:
  • regulatory legal acts, as well as instructions and guidelines governing activities in the field of repair, maintenance and operation of boiler equipment;
  • the Charter of the enterprise;
  • internal labor regulations;
  • orders and directives of the immediate supervisor;
  • this Job Description.
  1. The boilermaker must know:
  • arrangement and design of complex boilers, boiler units and high-pressure heat exchangers;
  • technological sequence and specifications for installation, adjustment and testing of complex boilers, apparatus, measuring instruments and consoles;
  • all kinds of methods of hydraulic, steam and air testing of boilers and boiler units in the collection;
  • fundamentals of heat engineering and mechanics;
  • types of fixtures and devices used in the assembly, installation and testing of boilers and boiler units;
  • rules and regulations of labor protection, safety and fire protection.
  1. The boilermaker reports directly to _______.
  2. During the absence of the boilermaker (illness, vacation, etc.), his duties are performed by a person appointed in the prescribed manner, who is fully responsible for their proper performance.

II. Official duties

The boiler operator is obliged to perform the following duties and types of work:

  1. manufacturing, assembly, installation and repair of complex and unique boilers and boiler units, devices, instrumentation, high-pressure valve panels;
  2. testing in accordance with specifications and delivery of complex, unique and experimental boilers, heat exchangers of complex design, operating under high pressure conditions;
  3. installation, adjustment and commissioning of complex boiler automation;
  4. checking foundations before installing complex and powerful boilers and boiler units;
  5. determination of installation coordinates before installing units, assemblies and fittings;
  6. identification of malfunctions during inspection and testing of boilers and mechanisms and their elimination;
  7. adjustment of automatic power supply of boiler fittings;
  8. production and assembly of compensators of lens and octagonal and shaped parts for gas, dust and air pipelines, sedimentation tanks, boilers and other volumetric products with spherical and conical bottoms;
  9. production and installation of the pipe system, final assembly, hydraulic testing, installation and commissioning of experimental boiler units;
  10. assembly and installation of the skin of experimental boilers;
  11. high pressure tank assembly;
  12. installation and adjustment of automatic combustion devices for furnace boilers and boiler units.

III. Rights

The boilermaker has the right:

  1. for all social guarantees provided for by law;
  2. require the management of the enterprise to assist in the performance of their duties and the exercise of rights;
  3. demand the creation of conditions for the performance of official duties, including the provision of the necessary equipment and inventory;
  4. get acquainted with the draft decisions of the management of the enterprise relating to its activities;
  5. submit proposals for the management of the enterprise to improve the organization and improve the methods of work performed by it;
  6. request personally or on behalf of the immediate supervisor the documents necessary for the performance of their duties;
  7. improve your professional skills.

IV. A responsibility

The boilermaker is responsible for:

  1. for failure to perform or improper performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - within the limits determined by the current labor legislation of Ukraine;
  2. for causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor and civil legislation of Ukraine;
  3. for offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal, civil legislation of Ukraine.
