I. General Provisions

The contractor (foreman) is appointed to the position and dismissed by the order of the Chairman of the Board in compliance with the requirements of the Labor Code of Ukraine;
The foreman reports directly to the Deputy Chairman of the Board on construction issues;
The foreman must know:

resolutions, orders, orders, methodological, regulatory and other guidance materials for the implementation of construction and installation works, prospects for the technical development of the site;
technical conditions and schedules for the implementation of construction and installation works;
standards, specifications and building materials, parts, structures;
building regulations;
fundamentals of production technology and methods of conducting construction and installation works;
the procedure for acceptance of objects completed by construction, and methods for controlling their quality;
the procedure for issuing design estimates and other technical documentation;
the procedure for economic and financial relationships with customers and subcontractors;
scientific and technical achievements and experience in organizing construction and installation works, new building materials, products, structures;
fundamentals of economics, organization of law, organization of production and management;
fundamentals of labor legislation;
rules and regulations of labor protection and safety.

Qualification requirements:

higher education in the relevant field of study;
work experience in the profession for at least 2 years.

II. Official duties

The foreman is obliged:

Carry out technical supervision of construction and installation works and accept completed objects.
Controls the implementation of capital construction plans, compliance with the volume, timing and quality of construction and installation works, as well as the quality of the materials, products, structures used by the approved design and estimate documentation, working drawings, building codes and rules, standards, technical conditions, labor protection standards, requirements of fire safety and labor organization, environmental protection;
Participates in resolving issues of introducing changes to projects related to the introduction of more advanced technological processes and design solutions that ensure cost reduction and improvement of technical and economic indicators of construction and reconstruction facilities;
Arranges technical documentation, keeps records of the work performed, issues a permit for the right to perform work in protected areas;
Examines the reasons for non-compliance with deadlines and deterioration in the quality of construction and installation works, takes measures to prevent and eliminate them;
Monitors compliance with the norms of carrying goods, cleanliness and tidiness at the workplace, in the aisles and entry areas, provides workplaces with safety signs;
Controls the state of safety in the performance of work and takes measures to eliminate identified shortcomings, violations of sanitary rules, informs, explains and monitors compliance with labor protection instructions;
Organizes work to improve the skills of employees and conducts educational work in the team.

III. Rights

The foreman has the right:

Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the management relating to its activities;
Make suggestions to improve your work;
Notify the immediate supervisor of all identified shortcomings and make proposals for their elimination;
Request personally or on behalf of the immediate supervisor from the heads of departments and specialists information and documents necessary to perform the tasks assigned to him;
Require the management of the enterprise to assist in the performance of their duties.

IV. A responsibility

The foreman is responsible

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - within the limits determined by the current legislation of Ukraine;
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities, within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine;
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor legislation on Ukraine.

Japanese manufacturer of video equipment JVC has introduced new models of camcorders. A feature of the new products, which have followed the path paved by portable music players, is the recording on the built-in hard drive.
