Below is a diagram of an ultra-low-voltage self-oscillating voltage converter with just one transistor. The efficiency is somewhere around 80% and depends on the load current and can reach up to 94%.

From it you can power: 80% of radio microphones, LED backlight (works for a very long time), VLF, receivers, energy-dependent memory chips, can be used as a portable charger for mobile phones by purchasing 1 battery. An excellent device to make batteries DEATH.

Technical specifications

Supply voltage 1,5 volts.

The oscillator starts at a voltage of at least 390 millivolts and remains operational at a voltage of 200 millivolts and below!

Can be used to generate low frequency oscillations under harsh supply voltage conditions (e.g. from a single solar panel)!

You can try to change the transistor to GT402-4, GT703 GT705 OR THEM LIKE THE OTHERS WILL NOT SUIT!

If the converter refuses to work, then it is necessary to change the ends of the secondary winding!

C1 mainly affects the efficiency.

The converter transformer is a ferrite ring with a permeability of about 2000HH, the inner diameter is 8mm, the rest is 5mm. 10 turns of 1.3 mm wire and 53 turns of 0.5 mm wire.

Transformer winding method: first, the first winding is wound turn to turn. Then we wind the secondary winding in the same way until the entire ring is filled.

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>

Projector in a fist 25.11.2006

German engineers have almost assembled a projector the size of a sugar cube. Current projectors, which allow the presenter to show files with graphics and pictures on a large screen, have two drawbacks: large size and considerable price. The reason is that the heart of the projector is an array of millions of micromirrors that form the image using a powerful lamp.

Scientists from the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Optics and Precision Mechanics (Germany) proved that both disadvantages can be overcome by designing a projector that is slightly larger than a one euro coin. This mini-projector does not have a million mirrors, but a single one, but capable of rotating in two planes. The light source is semiconductor microlasers, like those used in pointers. These are the lasers that do not allow you to make the projector very small.

The fact is that while the blue and red lasers have already "reduced" to the required size, such a transformation has not yet been possible with the green one, despite the many years of efforts by scientists around the world. And when luck finally smiles on them, then there will be unprecedented devices like a cell phone, capable of receiving a TV program and independently displaying an image on a large screen.

Well, the speaker will be relieved of the problems of docking with the equipment of the host: his own laptop will show everything. At its best.
