II. Official duties

Project manager:

Defines the charter, goals, objectives and result of the project.
Thinks through and draws up a plan for the preparation and implementation of a new project, determines milestones.

determines the scope of work required for the development and implementation of the project;
defines and documents dependencies between activities;
estimates the duration of work, makes a critical path;
determines the amount of time needed to complete the project.

Quantifies and estimates the cost of resources required to complete project work.
Estimates the cost and determines the budget for the project.
Selects a project team.

determines the professional skills required by the project team members;
determines the responsible Departments and responsible persons who will participate in the development and implementation of the project;
prescribes a chain of relationships between project team members;
thinks over the system of motivation of the project team.

Organizes project team meetings.
Participates in the development of a detailed business plan.
Controls the preparation of the necessary documentation for the implementation of a new project.

ensures timely collection, accumulation, distribution, storage and subsequent use of project information;
coordinates the provision of the necessary information within the stipulated time to all project participants;
