I. General Provisions

The body straightener is appointed to the position and dismissed by the head of the department in agreement with the head of the department.
Upon transfer to another job or dismissal from the post, the Body Straightener is responsible for the proper and timely handover of cases to the person taking up this position, and in the absence of such, to the person replacing him or directly to his supervisor.
Must know:

technology and methods of straightening for painting facing parts and assemblies of bodies of trucks and non-visible parts and assemblies of bodies of cars;
rules for preparing body parts and assemblies for reflow;
ways to correct defects;
the principle of operation of the dressing tool, the causes of internal stresses and deformations in welded parts, measures to prevent them and ways to eliminate them;
metal properties that appear during straightening.

II. Official duties

The clerk performs the following job responsibilities:

Dressing for painting facing parts and body assemblies of trucks and non-visual parts and assemblies of car bodies using a straightening tool.
Adjustment of nodes, doors of trucks with fine-tuning gaps and junctions.
Preparation of parts and assemblies of car bodies for reflow.
Cleaning of internal and soldered areas of the body.
Elimination of distortions of openings and the body as a whole while restoring its geometric shapes and parameters.
Repair of damaged body parts with replacement or by using repair inserts from prepared body parts or sheet metal, giving it the shape of a restored part.

III. Rights

The bodyworker has the right to:

give assignments to subordinate employees, tasks on a range of issues included in his functional duties;
control the fulfillment of production tasks, the timely execution of individual orders by employees subordinate to him;
to request and receive the necessary materials and documents related to the issues of their activities and activities of employees subordinate to him;
interact with other services of the enterprise on production and other issues that are part of its functional duties;
get acquainted with the draft decisions of the company's management regarding the activities of the Division;
propose for consideration by the manager proposals for improving the work related to the duties provided for in this Job Description;
submit for consideration by the head of the proposal on the promotion of distinguished employees, the imposition of penalties on violators of production and labor discipline;
report to the manager on all identified violations and shortcomings in connection with the work performed.

improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - within the limits determined by the labor legislation of Ukraine.
violation of the rules and regulations governing the activities of the enterprise.
offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor and civil legislation of Ukraine.
compliance with current instructions, orders and orders for the preservation of trade secrets and confidential information.
compliance with internal regulations, safety and fire safety rules.
