I. General Provisions

Full job title: Gas station electrician.

This position is subordinate to and receives orders, work orders directly from the chief power engineer, and is operationally subordinate to the head of the gas station.
Work in this position requires the employee to have the following qualifications:

education - secondary technical or secondary special;
specialty - electrical engineering.

The electrician must know:

rules for the technical operation of gas stations, job and production instructions;
arrangement of fuel-dispensing and instrumentation equipment;
technological scheme of gas station electrical equipment;
hazardous properties of petroleum products.

II. Official duties

The electrician of the gas station performs the following job responsibilities:

ensuring trouble-free and reliable operation of equipment, proper operation, timely repair;
carrying out works on preventive maintenance of the filling station equipment system;
carrying out seasonal maintenance of filling station equipment and fuel dispensers 2 times a year;
daily verification of the accuracy of the columns using exemplary measuring devices;
monitor the tightness of all connections both inside the columns and external pipelines;
keeping logs of the production of works, forms for fuel dispensers (data on the operation of dispensers), their installation, repair, technical inspections, sealing;
keeping records of electricity consumption by months;
carrying out preventive inspection of electrical equipment and grounding devices in accordance with the rules for the technical operation of gas stations;
monitors the cleanliness of painting and the clarity of the numbering of the filling station equipment in accordance with the schemes;
monitors the state of protective equipment of control and measuring devices, the timing of their verification;
carrying out inspection and establishment before starting work:

serviceability and operability of equipment, instruments, protective equipment, blocking and signaling devices;
serviceability of tools, fences, fire extinguishing equipment, safety devices and devices, integrity of protective grounding;
absence of violations in the conduct of the technological process;

when working at a non-permanent workplace, prepare the workplace and the necessary protective equipment, taking into account the instructions for the performance of these works and the safety instructions;
keep the workplace and equipment clean, work using overalls and the required protective equipment, devices and fences;
promptly take measures to eliminate failures in the operation of equipment and violations of the technological process;
participate in the installation of new equipment, organization of equipment accounting, preparation of documents for decommissioning of used equipment;
participate in work on the introduction of progressive methods of repair and restoration of equipment, measures to increase the service life of equipment, reduce downtime, prevent accidents and industrial injuries;
knowledge and observance of safety instructions, fire safety, industrial sanitation at work; do not allow unauthorized persons to your workplace;
report to the head of the gas station and the chief power engineer:

about the identified malfunctions of equipment, instruments, electrical devices and networks, fittings, communications and fences, as well as about the occurrence of malfunctions in the conduct of the technological process or in the performance of a production operation;
about all cases of detecting a malfunction of safety, blocking, signaling, as well as protective and emergency devices, fire extinguishing equipment and personal protection;
about each case of injury, poisoning, burns received personally or by other workers, as well as about fire, explosion or emergency;
about persons who violate safety instructions, fire safety and industrial sanitation.

participate in the provision of assistance to the victims, liquidation of an accident, fire or other incident (call an ambulance, fire brigade); know the methods of first aid; know the location and be able to use fire extinguishing equipment; know, skillfully and quickly perform the duties provided for by the emergency response plan in various emergency situations.

III. Rights

The gas station electrician has the right to:

Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the management of the enterprise regarding its activities.
Participate in the discussion of issues related to their official duties.
Submit proposals for the improvement of the work related to the duties provided for in this instruction for consideration by your immediate supervisor.
Within the limits of his competence, inform his immediate supervisor of all shortcomings identified in the course of the performance of official duties and make proposals for their elimination.

IV. A responsibility

The gas station electrician is responsible for:

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - within the limits determined by the current labor legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor and civil legislation of Ukraine.
