I. General Provisions

The accountant belongs to the category of technical performers.
A person with a higher technical education is appointed to the position of accountant.
The accountant must know:

Ukrainian legislation;
technical characteristics of the goods, basic properties;
rules of internal labor regulations;
rules and regulations of labor protection, safety, industrial sanitation, fire safety.

The accountant in his activities is guided by:

this Job Description;
company's internal documents.

The accountant reports directly to the head of the accounting and control department.

II. Official duties

The accountant must:

Carry out operations for the adoption, accounting of primary documentation.
Checks the received primary documents in form and content.
Systematizes received primary documents, transfers the information reflected in these documents to the enterprise database.
Monitors reports on syllables for the correctness of execution of delivery notes, signatures of operators, storekeepers, or employees responsible for issuing goods, and the correctness of checkout of goods.
Archives reports for the last 2 months.
Makes a return according to the database, checks counterparties, dates, prices.
Checks the return implementation of the store.
The manager-warehouse-contractor conducts a reconciliation of the goods movement.
Controls the timeliness of submission of reports with amendments by the storekeepers of the composition.
When checking reports, selectively compare invoices with basic transactions and eliminate deficiencies in filling out.
Require that employees responsible for preparing documents reflecting the movement of inventory items correctly fill out primary documents.
Summarizes the digital information in these documents by its types, directions and periods.
Prepares intermediate calculations necessary for accounting of business transactions and submits them for consideration to the manager.
Promptly report to management any circumstances that make it difficult for the operator to perform his immediate functions.
Never disclose information in any form outside the enterprise about the movement of inventory within the enterprise.
Use inventory for its intended purpose (operate the PC according to the instructions).
Maintain cleanliness and order in the workplace.
Ensure the safety of accounting documents.
Timely draw up incoming invoices for the product range.
Prepares data and forms of documents for settlement transactions.
Registers documents received by the accounting department.
Compiles documents in chronological order, ensuring ease of use when checking is necessary.

III. Rights

The accountant has the right:

To get acquainted with the decisions of the management regarding its activities.
Take part in discussions regarding the effective performance of his duties.
Submit proposals for improvement of the department's activities for consideration by the manager.
Sign and endorse documents within their competence.
Require the manager to assist in the fulfillment of their rights and obligations.

IV. A responsibility

The Accountant is responsible for:

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - to the extent determined by the current legislation of Ukraine.
For committing material damage - within the limits determined by the current legislation of Ukraine.
For committing acts in the course of carrying out their activities that entail criminal liability - within the limits determined by the current legislation of Ukraine.
The accountant bears full financial responsibility for the safety of primary documents, the correctness of the digital indicators entered into the database reflecting the movement of inventory items, and the accuracy of the reports submitted for management's consideration.
