I. General Provisions

The cashier of the trading floor belongs to the category of technical performers.
A person with a higher or incomplete higher education is appointed to the position of store cashier.
The sales floor cashier is appointed on the recommendation of the store director with the obligatory conclusion of a liability agreement and is dismissed from office by order of the director.
The cashier of the trading floor should know:

Ukrainian legislation.
technical characteristics of goods, basic properties.
internal labor regulations.
rules and regulations of labor protection, safety, industrial sanitation, fire safety.

The cashier in his activities is guided by:

this Job Description;
company's internal documents.

The store clerk reports directly to the store manager.

II. Official duties

Store cashier:

Carry out operations for accepting, accounting, issuing and storing money with mandatory compliance with storage rules.
Transfer money for safekeeping in accordance with accepted standards.
Maintain an income ledger.
Make payments in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine.
Take the necessary measures to protect the monetary values entrusted to him.
Promptly report to management about any circumstances that make it difficult to perform the immediate functions of a cashier.
Never disclose in any form information about material assets entrusted to him.
Use store inventory for its intended purpose (operate the PC according to the instructions).
Maintain cleanliness and order in the workplace.
Provide technical specifications to the store client within the limits of their competence.
Ensure the safety of accounting documents (receipt invoices, income books, etc.).
Order a change coin in time.
Monitor the timely execution of invoices and the availability of invoices for the entire product range.
Introduce buyers to the terms of return and require their signature on the sales receipt in the column “with the terms of return sign”.
Provide sellers with information about the price of goods, if necessary, fill out price tags and stick them on the corresponding goods.

III. Rights

The cashier of the trading floor has the right to:

Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the management on the activities of the store.
Take part in discussions regarding the effective performance of his duties.
Submit proposals to improve the store's operations for the director's consideration.
Sign and endorse documents within their competence.
Demand assistance from the store director in fulfilling his rights and obligations.

IV. A responsibility

The cashier is responsible

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - to the extent determined by the current legislation of Ukraine.
For committing material damage - within the limits determined by the current legislation of Ukraine.
For committing acts in the process of carrying out their activities that entail criminal liability - within the limits determined by the current legislation of Ukraine.
The cashier of the trading floor bears full financial responsibility for the safety of money in the cash register in the manner prescribed by the current legislation of Ukraine.
