I. General Provisions

A person with a higher medical education who has undergone special training in medical statistics and at least 3 years of work experience in the specialty is appointed to the position of head of the medical statistics cabinet.
Appointed and dismissed by the chief physician of the hospital on the proposal of the deputy chief physician for medical affairs in accordance with applicable law.
Directly reports to the Deputy Chief Physician of the hospital for the medical part.
His work is guided by:

official documents on the performed section of work,
orders and orders of higher officials,
this instruction.

The orders of the head are obligatory for all employees of the medical statistics office.

II. Official duties

Organizes the correct setting of statistical records in the hospital.
Provides receipt of primary accounting documentation from the hospital departments.
Supervises the work of statisticians.
Carries out special statistical developments at the direction of the deputy chief physician for the medical unit, within the established statistical reporting on the activities of the hospital.
Submits, in accordance with the established procedure, the calculated indicators on the activities of the hospital to the chief physician, deputy chief physician for medical affairs.
Signs the applications prepared by the medical statistician for the required forms of accounting and reporting documents.
Provides hospital departments with accounting and reporting forms in a timely manner.
He systematically improves his professional qualifications by reading medical literature, participating in seminars, briefings, etc.
Maintains established accounting and reporting documentation; Approves work and vacation schedules for office staff.

III. Rights

The head of the medical statistics office has the right to:

Check the status of primary statistical accounting and reporting in the hospital departments and give the necessary instructions for their correct maintenance.
Report to the Deputy Chief Physician for Medical Affairs on the identified shortcomings in the state of accounting and medical statistics and make proposals aimed at improving the establishment of medical records in the hospital.
Make proposals to the hospital administration on the nomination of one of the statisticians to the reserve for promotion and for replacement during his absence (illness, vacation, advanced courses, etc.).
Give orders and instructions to medical statisticians and medical statisticians in accordance with their level of competence and qualifications and monitor their implementation.
Periodically improve their professional qualifications (once every 1 years) at refresher courses.
Receive the information necessary to carry out their duties.
Make proposals to the hospital management to improve the organization and working conditions of the office staff.

IV. A responsibility

The head of the medical statistics office is responsible for:
