Qualification requirements: basic or incomplete higher education in the relevant field of study (bachelor or junior specialist) and work experience in the field of postal services: for a bachelor - at least 1 year, junior specialist - at least 2 years.

II. Official duties

Organizes the work of the brigade of the mail car in accordance with the introduced rules and instructions.
Carries out the processing and sorting of mail, the exchange of mail with postal departments according to the plan for sending mail.
Ensures the preservation of mail, valuables, weapons, personal items and equipment of the mail car.
Accounting for the number of postal items processed in the mail car according to waybills and bag containers.
Prepares reports on violations identified and committed during the processing and exchange of mail during the flight.
Conducts briefing and checks the knowledge of the brigade members of the postal rules and other regulatory documents related to the transportation of mail.
Introduces advanced labor methods, monitors compliance with production and labor discipline by employees.
Ensures compliance with the rules for the transportation of mail and the operation of mail cars on the railways of Ukraine.
During accidents and uncoupling of the mail car, he takes measures to preserve the mail, send it to its destination in a timely manner and provide first aid to injured workers.
Participates in the preparation of acts on the damaged mail car.
Performs the functions of a conductor-electrician of the mail car during his absence.

III. Rights

The head of the postal car has the right:

Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the management of the enterprise relating to its activities.
Participate in the discussion of issues related to the performance of his duties.
Make suggestions for improving the work related to the provisions of this instruction.
Within the limits of its competence, inform the immediate supervisor of all those identified in the course of his activities, and make proposals for their elimination.
Require the management of the enterprise to assist in the performance of their duties.

IV. A responsibility

The head of the postal car is responsible for:

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties, as well as for non-use or directly to their rights provided for by this Job Description - to the extent determined by the current legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor legislation on labor of Ukraine.
