I. General Provisions

The main tasks of the district physician-therapist of the workshop medical section is to provide workers and employees of the site with qualified therapeutic assistance and to carry out preventive measures to reduce their incidence.
Appointment and dismissal of a workshop general practitioner is carried out by the chief physician of the polyclinic in accordance with applicable law.
The workshop physician-therapist reports directly to the deputy chief physician for medical affairs, in case of his absence - to the chief physician of the polyclinic.
The shop physician-therapist submits to the average medical staff of the office.
In its activities, the workshop physician-therapist is guided by:

orders of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine;
instructions and orders of municipal health authorities;
this Job Description;
guidelines for improving the provision of medical care to workers and employees of industrial enterprises.

II. Official duties

To develop and implement, together with the administration of the enterprise and the trade union organization, comprehensive measures to reduce morbidity and injuries.
Ensure early detection of diseases, timely diagnosis and qualified treatment of patients using modern methods and means of examination and treatment.
Provide medical assistance in case of sudden illnesses and occupational poisoning at work.
Ensure timely identification of persons subject to medical examination, and further examination, dynamic monitoring, active treatment and rational employment of those undergoing medical examination with an analysis of the effectiveness of medical examination.
Refer patients in need of hospitalization to inpatient treatment in the prescribed manner.
To carry out an examination of temporary disability in accordance with the current Regulations and control over the rational employment of employees in accordance with the conclusion of the EEC.
Ensure the organization and quality of preliminary, upon admission to work, and periodic medical examinations.
Supervise and supervise the work of the paramedical health center.
Participate in the development of proposals to bring the working conditions of workers and employees in line with sanitary and hygienic requirements (together with the sanitary doctor for occupational health).
Send an emergency notification to the center of state sanitary and epidemiological supervision if an infectious disease, food or occupational poisoning or disease is detected and report it directly to the head.
Conduct a systematic analysis of the incidence of occupational and temporary disability of workers and employees of their shop area and develop proposals for its reduction.
Follow the principles of deontology in your work.
To exercise control over the training of authorized sanitary teams and posts for the provision of self- and mutual assistance.
Conduct active promotion of sanitary and hygienic knowledge among workers.
To take part in the development of the collective agreement of the enterprise, control over the implementation of recreational activities, in meetings of the workshop committee and the social insurance commission when discussing the state of morbidity, employment of the sick and disabled, distribution of vouchers to sanatoriums, improving working conditions.
To systematically improve their qualifications and the level of medical knowledge of the nurse of the district shop of the medical district.
Keep medical records of outpatients, write prescriptions.
Ensure proper medical records are kept by the office nurse.

III. Rights

The general practitioner of the shop medical district has the right to:

make proposals to the administration of the polyclinic on improving the organization of medical and preventive care for workers, working conditions for the medical staff of the office;
participate in meetings on the organization of medical and preventive care for employees;
prescribe and cancel any therapeutic and preventive measures, based on the patient's condition;
receive information necessary for the performance of official duties;
to present subordinates at work to the nursing staff for incentives and make proposals for the imposition of penalties in case of violation of labor discipline, unsatisfactory performance of official duties.

IV. A responsibility

The physician-therapist of the local shop medical site is responsible for:

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties, as well as for non-use or directly to their rights provided for by this Job Description - to the extent determined by the current legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor legislation on labor of Ukraine.
