I. General Provisions

This Job Description defines the functional duties, rights and responsibilities of the director of the production department of the television broadcasting department.
The director of the production department of the television broadcasting department belongs to the category of specialists.
The director of the production department of the television broadcasting department is appointed and dismissed in accordance with the procedure established by the current labor legislation by order of the General Director of the television and radio company in agreement with the head of the production department of the television broadcasting department.
The Director of the Production Department of the Television Broadcasting Department reports directly to the Head of the Production Department of the Television Broadcasting Department.
A person with a higher or secondary specialized education and at least 1 year experience in a similar position is appointed to the position of director of the production department of the television broadcasting department.
For the proper performance of official duties, the director of the production department of the television broadcasting department must know:

laws and other regulatory legal acts that determine the requirements for the level of television programs;
organization of the creative process, technical means and technology for creating television programs and other television products;
technical means and software necessary for creating a design for a television and radio company, developing a corporate identity and creating a design for a television and radio company;
installation basics, and types of installation equipment;
the procedure and terms for submitting information to the head of the production department of the television broadcasting department about the work done;
rules of internal labor regulations;
regulations on commercial secrets of the TV and radio company;
rules and norms of labor protection;
rules for using the LAN and other local regulations of the television and radio company relating to the activities of the production department of the television broadcasting department.

In his activities, the director of the production department of the television broadcasting department is guided by:

Laws "On Mass Media", "On Advertising";
Charter of the TV and radio company;
Regulations on the Department of Television Broadcasting;
Regulations on the production department;
this Job Description.

During the period of temporary absence of the director of the production department of the television broadcasting department (illness, vacation, business trip), his duties may be assigned to a person appointed by order of the Director General of the television and radio company. This person acquires the appropriate rights and is responsible for the improper performance of the duties assigned to him.

II. Official duties

Engaged in the production of all current commercial projects.
Participates in the work on scenario plans for commercial products produced by the production department.
Makes decisions on the selection of actors for staged commercial projects produced by the production department.
Engaged in staging projects and special projects of the television and radio company.
Accepts third-party commercial material.
Invites a lawyer to approve (accept for compliance with the laws of the Russian Federation) commercial products manufactured by the department.
Engaged in the production of the necessary restoration work with the client's materials.
Performs the whole range of works on the installation of television programs and other television products.
Provides artistic and technical quality of installation.
Carries out the process of preparing and editing television programs and other television products within the time allotted by the technology in accordance with the sequence agreed with the head of the production department.
Performs video archiving.
Takes measures to improve the artistic and technical quality of programs.
Views the final version of the edited program and informs the management of any defects in the edited scenes.
Independently carries out the process of preparing and editing television programs.
Hands over the completed development to the customer, if necessary, organizes the revision or processing of the order.
Controls new and already existing directions in the corporate design of the original product and the TV and radio company as a whole.
Controls the compliance of the implementation of the idea with the content of the order.
Complies with the current technical standards, as well as the deadlines provided for by the calendar and production plan for the installation work.
Carries out the instructions of the head of the production department that do not contradict labor laws.
Keeps the workplace clean and tidy.
Observes labor discipline, rules and regulations of labor protection, industrial sanitation and hygiene requirements, fire safety requirements.
Informs the head of the production department of the television broadcasting department and the head of the technical department about the malfunction of the reporting equipment.
Takes part in the weekly planning meetings of the production department of the television broadcasting department.

III. Rights

The director of the production department of the television broadcasting department has the right to:

Request and receive the necessary materials and documents related to the activities of the director of the production department of the television broadcasting department.
Get acquainted with projects for the reorganization and technical re-equipment of the television and radio company in general and the production department of the television broadcasting department in particular.
Submit for consideration by the management proposals for improving the work of the production department of the television broadcasting department, the development of original television projects.
Propose new directions in the design of a television and radio company.

IV. A responsibility

The director of the production department of the television broadcasting department is responsible for:

for improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - in accordance with the current labor legislation of Ukraine;
for offenses committed in the course of their activities - in accordance with the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine;
for causing material damage to a television and radio company - in accordance with the current labor and civil legislation of Ukraine;
for the safety of the technical equipment entrusted to him;
for compliance with the current corporate identity of the TV and radio company and individual projects on the air and on other media.
