I. General Provisions

The copywriter belongs to the category of specialists.
A person with a higher professional education (journalistic, philological) and at least 2-3 years of experience in the advertising field is appointed to the position of a copywriter.
The copywriter must know:

legislation on advertising, on the protection of consumer rights, on copyright and related rights, on business activities;
market conditions for goods, works, services, incl. advertising services;
theory and practice of advertising marketing and management;
principles of organization of advertising activities;
general and special requirements for advertising;
methods, means and media of advertising;
foundations of aesthetics, ethics, general and special psychology, sociology, philology;
technique and basic tools for compiling advertising texts;
basic principles of media planning;
computer and adware;
fundamentals of labor legislation;
rules and norms of labor protection, safety measures, industrial sanitation and fire protection.

Appointment to the position of a copywriter and dismissal from the position are made in the manner determined by the internal documents of the organization.
The copywriter reports directly to (creative director; other official).

II. Official duties

Copywriter:

In accordance with the media plan, he creates slogans (sloganeering), comes up with names (naming), writes scripts for television commercials (scripting), scripts for video and audio advertising aimed at the target audience.
Develops the content (content) of advertising, advertising texts (including in a foreign language), writes advertising and PR articles.
Develops a positive image of the company.
Provides content for advertisements.
Organizes the presentation of slogans, titles, scenarios and articles to management or representatives of customers.
Prepares news and press releases.
Creates "information occasions".
Prepares a speech for public speeches of the company's management at conferences, press clubs, television, radio.
Carries out information-analytical and editorial work.
Participates in the publication of the newsletter.
Prepares progress reports.

III. Rights

The copywriter has the right:

To enroll advertisements, texts, etc. in your personal portfolio as author's developments.
Require the provision of reliable information about the object of advertising.
Require management to ensure the organizational and technical conditions necessary for the performance of official duties.
Get acquainted with the documents that define his rights and obligations in his position, the criteria for assessing the quality of performance of official duties.
Submit proposals for the management to improve the work related to the duties provided for in this Job Description.

IV. A responsibility

The copywriter is responsible for:

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - within the limits established by the current labor legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of their activities - within the limits established by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage to the organization - within the limits established by the legislation of Ukraine.
