Xiaomi Audio and Video Conference Speaker Video Conferencing System

Xiaomi has announced the Audio and Video Conference Speaker system, which is designed to organize remote interaction of employees. The novelty was estimated at 360 dollars.

The system resembles a soundbar. It can be wall-mounted for convenient video calling. The device has a camera based on a Sony sensor with a viewing angle of 120 degrees, eight times digital zoom and the ability to mechanically adjust the height within 10 degrees.

An array of six microphones is responsible for speech equalization. Its range is 5 m. Intelligent algorithms improve the performance of microphones, so that the voice of people who are nearby at different distances is heard equally well.

The system is equipped with an eight-core Qualcomm APQ8053 processor and two 2,5-inch speakers. It also supports 4K video and has Smart Noise Reduction tools based on AI algorithms.
