I. General Provisions

The engineer belongs to the category of specialists.
A person with a higher technical education is appointed to the position of an engineer without presenting requirements for work experience.
Appointment to the position and dismissal from it is carried out by order of the General Director on the proposal of the Deputy. general director of the enterprise.
The engineer must know:

methodological and normative materials on the issues of the work performed.
prospects for technical development and features of the enterprise.
principles of operation, technical characteristics, design features of the developed and used technical means, materials and their properties.
research methods, rules and conditions for the performance of work.
basic requirements for technical documentation, materials.
achievements of science and technology, advanced domestic and foreign experience in the relevant field of activity.
fundamentals of labor law.
internal labor regulations.
rules and norms of labor protection, safety measures, industrial sanitation and fire protection.

The engineer reports directly to the head of the relevant structural unit; to another official.
During the absence of an engineer (illness, vacation, business trip, etc.), his duties are performed by a person appointed in the prescribed manner. This person acquires the appropriate rights and is responsible for the proper performance of the duties assigned to him.

II. Official duties

Ensures uninterrupted operation of editing, viewing studios, equipment in the film studio.
Supervises video engineers and technicians of departments during technological work.
Carries out a technical and economic analysis, comprehensively substantiates the decisions made and implemented, seeks opportunities to reduce the cycle of work (services), assists in the preparation of the process of their implementation, providing the enterprise’s departments with the necessary technical data, documents, materials, equipment, etc.
Participates in research, development of projects and programs of the enterprise (subdivisions of the enterprise) in carrying out activities related to testing equipment and putting it into operation.
He studies and analyzes information, technical data, indicators and results of work, generalizes and systematizes them, makes the necessary calculations using modern electronic computers.
Draws up work schedules, orders, applications, instructions, explanatory notes, maps, diagrams and other technical documentation, as well as established reporting in accordance with approved forms and on time.
Provides methodological and practical assistance in the implementation of projects and programs, plans and contracts.
Carries out control over the condition and operation of equipment in the pavilion and editing studios 30 minutes before the "live" broadcast, as well as during it.
Coordinates with the editor-in-chief and heads of departments the need for technological work.
Promotes the development of creative initiative, rationalization, the use of best practices that ensure the effective operation of the organization.
Performs individual official assignments of his immediate supervisor.

III. Rights

The engineer has the right:

Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the management of the enterprise relating to its activities.
Submit proposals for the management to improve the work related to the duties provided for in this job description.
Notify the immediate supervisor of all shortcomings in the production activities of the enterprise (its structural divisions) identified in the course of the performance of their duties and make proposals for their elimination.
Request personally or on behalf of the immediate supervisor from the heads of enterprise departments and specialists information and documents necessary for the performance of his duties.
Involve specialists from all (individual) structural divisions in solving the tasks assigned to him.
Require the management of the enterprise to assist in the performance of his duties and rights.

IV. A responsibility

The engineer is responsible for:

For failure to perform (improper performance) of their official duties provided for by this Job Description, within the limits determined by the current labor legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
