I. General Provisions

The journalist belongs to the category of specialists and reports directly to the head of the department.
A person who has a higher specialized or higher humanitarian education, work experience in the media is accepted for the position of a journalist.
Employment and dismissal is carried out by order of the general director of the enterprise on the proposal of the head of the department.
The journalist must know:

regulatory and methodological materials in the field of mass media;
prospects for the development of domestic, foreign journalism;
methods of organizing and planning work;
new information technologies;
grammar and stylistics of the Ukrainian / Russian language;
fundamentals of television production technology;
rules of internal labor regulations;
rules and regulations of labor protection.

During the absence of a journalist (illness, vacation, etc.), his duties are performed by a person appointed in accordance with the established procedure, who is responsible for their high-quality and timely performance.

II. Official duties

Journalist:

Systematically collects, analyzes and processes information, using materials from press services, newspapers, magazines to compile advertising texts, stories and videos for television programs.
Responsible for the reliability, accuracy, completeness, timeliness and correctness of the information offered for broadcast.
Develops ideas for his stories (programs), ideas for custom stories (programs), commercials.
Acts as director when necessary.
He builds his work taking into account the general plan of filming and editing programs.
Prepares the standard (within a month) number of programs (programs, stories), as well as additional programs (plots) in accordance with the order of the television management in accordance with the requirements of quality and efficiency.
To prepare video materials, he travels to the shooting location with the operator or independently (in the latter case, be able to use the camera).
Before leaving, he clarifies the information and coordinates the filming plan with the client manager, sets a task for cameramen before filming.
During the trip, he is the head of the film crew, represents the interests of television and its audience at the scene, works in unity with the cameraman during filming.
He watches and time-tracks video materials, draws the attention of the operator to the shortcomings in the quality of filming, and comes to editing with a ready-made script, scenario plan.
Other duties in accordance with the production need by order of the television management, his immediate supervisor, editor-in-chief.

III. Rights

The journalist has the right:

Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the management regarding its activities.
Make proposals for improving the work related to the responsibilities provided for in this instruction.
Within its competence, report to the immediate supervisor about all the shortcomings identified in the course of the performance of their duties, and make proposals for their elimination.
Involve all (individual) specialists in solving the tasks assigned to him.

IV. A responsibility

The journalist is responsible for:

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor and civil legislation of Ukraine.

WD Blue SN500 NVMe SSD 18.03.2019

Western Digital has added an NVMe-enabled M.2 model to its WD Blue SSD lineup. The novelty is called WD Blue SN500 NVMe. The manufacturer is positioning the new SSD as a solution for "content creators and PC enthusiasts."
