I. General Provisions

  1. The videographer belongs to the category of specialists.
  2. A person with a secondary - specialized technical education with experience in this field is accepted for the position of a videographer.
  3. Recruitment to the position of a videographer and dismissal from it is carried out by order of the general director of the enterprise on the proposal of the chief director.
  4. The videographer must know:
  • methodological and normative materials on the issues of the work performed;
  • features of the enterprise;
  • organizational structure;
  • principles of operation of filming video equipment;
  • basis of composition, exposure metering;
  • the basics of working with light, lighting equipment;
  • sound recording basics;
  • system of relations with a journalist;
  • rules of internal labor regulations;
  • rules and regulations of labor protection.
  1. The videographer reports directly to the senior cameraman, chief director, chief editor.
  2. During the absence of a videographer (illness, vacation, etc.), his duties are performed by a person appointed by order of the gene. director of the enterprise The person acquires the relevant rights and is responsible for the quality and timely performance of the duties assigned to him.

II. Official duties

  1. He travels to shoot videos with a correspondent.
  2. Before and after shooting, he works in close contact with the correspondent, discussing plots and agreeing on a shooting plan.
  3. Acts as director of reportage filming, coordinating them with the correspondent.
  4. Responsible for the quality and quantity of filmed video material, in accordance with the requirements for television, controlling the quality of the recording during reportage filming.
  5. Upon returning from filming, he informs the correspondent, the video editing engineer about the quantity and quality of the footage.
  6. Before leaving, he controls the serviceability and operability of the necessary equipment (camera, microphone, batteries, portable lighting, etc.) during filming, uses a tripod on the cameras.
  7. Timely notifies the head of the department and the technical service about the malfunction of the reporting filming and sound recording equipment.
  8. Filming in the exit mode is carried out without violating the rules for using trusted equipment.
  9. Performs the functions of a studio operator during live broadcasts and recording programs.
  10. Controls the serviceability of the video equipment in the pavilion, solves operational technical issues only with the technical service and the management of the department.
  11. Prepares the studio for live broadcast or recording at least 30 minutes before the start of work in the presence of a video engineer on duty.
  12. If necessary, shoots copyright and commercial programs, including concert programs, etc.
  13. Works in accordance with the established schedule and the Rules of the internal labor regulations of television.
  14. Other duties in accordance with the production need by order of the head of the department.
  15. Maintains video equipment.

III. Rights

The videographer has the right:

  1. Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the management of the enterprise relating to its activities.
  2. Make proposals for improving the work related to the responsibilities provided for in this instruction.
  3. Request personally or on behalf of the management of the enterprise from the departments of the organization and other specialists information and documents necessary for the performance of his duties.
  4. Require the management of the enterprise to assist in the performance of their duties and rights.

IV. A responsibility

The videographer is responsible for:

  1. For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - within the limits determined by the current labor legislation of Ukraine.
  2. For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
  3. For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor and civil legislation of Ukraine.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 602A Processor for Automotive Media Centers 13.01.2014

Qualcomm introduced several new processors at CES 2014. One of them was the 4-core Snapdragon 802 chip, designed for TVs with a 4K screen resolution. Another single-chip system, which will be discussed, was designated Snapdragon 602A.

This processor is designed for use in automotive infotainment systems. The product, according to the developer, fully complies with the AEC-Q100 standard, which means stringent requirements for operating temperature, quality, reliability and durability.

The Snapdragon 602A includes four Krait processing cores (clock frequency not specified) and an Adreno 320 graphics accelerator. In addition, the chip includes a Hexagon DSP digital signal processor, a GNSS module to support satellite navigation, as well as audio and video information processing units.

The Snapdragon 602A includes an integrated Qualcomm Gobi 9x15 multi-modem for connecting to third and fourth generation (LTE) mobile networks. Plus, the platform provides support for Dual-Band Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2,4 and 5 GHz) and Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy (LE).
