I. General Provisions

  1. The security guard is appointed to the post and dismissed from the post in accordance with the procedure established by the current labor legislation by order of the general director of the enterprise.
  2. The security guard reports directly to the office manager.
  3. During the period of temporary absence of the Security Guard, his duties are assigned to the employee temporarily involved in the replacement.
  4. In his work, the security guard is guided by:
  • current legislation of Ukraine;
  • the Charter of the enterprise;
  • internal regulations;
  • orders (instructions) of the General Director;
  • quality policy and internal regulatory documents of the company.

II. Official duties

  1. Protects the object, property, material values ​​located within the borders of the checkpoint.
  2. Carries out visual control of the premises adjacent to the protected ones.
  3. Passes the employees of the facility, visitors and releases from the facility in the manner and according to the samples of documents approved by the company administration.
  4. Monitors and maintains a log of the arrival and departure of office employees, a log of business trips of employees during the working day. Provides lists of late employees.
  5. Together with a shift guard and an office manager, he checks the integrity of the protected object, the presence of locks and other locking devices, the integrity of material assets and funds.
  6. Carries out periodic monitoring of the serviceability of signaling devices, means of communication, other auxiliary means of protection, control and observation devices and lighting.
  7. In case of revealing the fact of damage or damage to the equipment, which does not allow to take the object under protection or perform other functions for the protection of property, notify the official in whose subordination he is.
  8. In case of detection of any damage in the premises of the protected facility, places of storage of property and material assets, immediately inform the immediate supervisor about this.
  9. Accepts and hands over the protection of protected premises to the representative of the private security company with a record of this in the journal.
  10. In the event of outright fraud, a direct attack on the security facility with the aim of stealing, robbing property and material values, an immediate threat to the life and health of the security guard of the facility, other employees and persons located on the territory of the protected facility, obvious illegal actions against the security personnel during the performance of the tasks and duties assigned to it, failure to comply with the legal requirements of the security personnel, reports the offender to the representative of the private security company at the facility, applies measures of necessary defense against the offender in accordance with applicable law.

III. Rights

The office guard has the right to:

  1. Submit competent and reasonable proposals for the improvement of working conditions, other rational proposals for consideration by the immediate supervisor.
  2. Demand the provision of normal working conditions (premises, workplace, means of labor).
  3. Use of the Instructions approved by the General Director, orders, instructions, Rules and other documents regulating the work of the office security guard.
  4. Inform the direct management of the shortcomings in the work identified in the course of the performance of their duties.
  5. Request personally or on behalf of the management of the enterprise from the heads of structural divisions and other employees information and documents necessary for the performance of their duties.
  6. Receive from the management or officials of the Company information, material, technical and other means necessary for the implementation of their functional duties.

IV. A responsibility

The office manager is responsible for:

  1. For poor-quality and untimely performance of the tasks and duties provided for by this Instruction.
  2. For non-use and / or misuse of the rights granted by this Instruction.
  3. For non-compliance with the legislation of Ukraine, Instructions, orders, instructions, Rules and other documents regulating the work of an office security guard.
  4. For non-compliance with the rules of internal labor regulations, safety and fire safety.
  5. For damage or negligence in storage and use, theft of company property.
  6. For rude, tactless attitude (behavior) when communicating with staff and visitors of the company.
  7. For the safety of documentation and non-observance of the interests of the company, the issuance of confidential information, documentation (trade secrets) about the company and its clients to third parties.
  8. For providing direct management with false or distorted reporting and other documentation (information).
