Safe Operation

1. General requirements for labor protection

1.1. Employees of the depot who have the appropriate training and experience in such work are allowed to independently perform work on mowing grass with a scythe.

1.2. Admission to independent work is carried out after an internship for 2 shifts, receiving an initial briefing at the workplace and testing safety knowledge.

1.4. Drinking alcoholic beverages on the premises is prohibited. Being on the territory of the enterprise in a state of toxic, alcoholic, narcotic poisoning is prohibited.

1.5. Smoking on the territory is prohibited except in places specially equipped for this.

1.6. A person working with a scythe needs to be aware that in the process of work there is a possibility of injury by the cutting parts of the scythe and small objects (chips, stones) flying out from under the knife.

1.7. The issuance of overalls, safety shoes and other PPE is carried out according to the main profession.

1.8. All workers in the depot must be trained in the methods of releasing the victim from the effects of electric current and be able to provide first aid.

In case of electric shock, immediately release the victim from the action of the electric current, and then, if the victim has stopped breathing, give him artificial respiration, in the absence of a pulse, do an indirect heart massage until first aid arrives or full restoration of vital functions.

In case of injuries, it is necessary to be able to stop bleeding, and in case of dislocations and fractures, it is necessary to be able to apply splints.

1.9. In each accident that a worker has witnessed, it is necessary to provide first aid to the victim, call a doctor or help deliver the victim to a health center, report the incident to the management of the shop.

1.10. If the accident occurred with the employee himself, it is necessary, if possible, to contact the health center, inform the administration or ask someone from the people around to do it.

1.11. For violation of this instruction and certain clauses, the perpetrators are personally liable and may be subject to disciplinary, administrative or criminal liability, depending on the degree of guilt and consequences.

2. Labor protection requirements before starting work

2.1. Put on overalls, wear a hat and personal protective equipment.

2.2. Get a job assignment from your immediate supervisor.

2.3. Inspect the workplace, it must be cleared of debris (cans, papers, glass, etc.).

2.4. The tool must be prepared for work.

3. Labor protection requirements during work

3.1. Keep the goat at a distance.

3.5. Unauthorized persons must be at a distance of at least 5 meters from the place where the scythe is used.

4.3. Ensure the safety of the environment of the accident.

4.4. In case of injury or sudden illness, provide first aid. Inform the foreman, the head of the workshop, his deputy about what happened.

4.5. In the event of a fire, take measures to eliminate it, inform the fire department and the administration.

5. Labor protection requirements at the end of work

5.1. Tidy up the instrument. Thoroughly clean the entire surface of the braid and inspect it for damage. Clean the outer surface of the spit with a brush.

5.2. Wipe off residual moisture with a soft cloth.

5.3. Remove the scythe in a specially designated place - a dry, well-ventilated area.

5.4. Take off overalls and PPE, put it in a specially designated closet.

5.5. Notify the master of the completion of work.
