Directly on weather a person cannot influence, but, being able to recognize certain signs, he can foresee changes in the weather, and thereby protect himself if necessary. According to local features, you can give a weather forecast for several hours ahead, and sometimes for a day. When making a forecast, consider the following:

It makes no sense to make a forecast, guided by only one sign: you need to make several heterogeneous observations. If the signs contradict each other, then it is necessary to choose the most pronounced ones and determine which forecast is consistent with them. The behavior of birds, animals, plants in connection with weather changes can be considered reliable if the reason for this behavior is clear.

Signs of bad weather:

the air pressure goes down;
thin cirrus clouds appear on the horizon, elongated into narrow bands with blurry ends and diverging as if from one point;
"flags" appear above the tops of the hills (clouds "hooked" on the top);
the wind increases towards the night;
bright rings appear around the sun or moon;
dew and frost do not settle;
the evening dawn has a bright red color;
the stars twinkle strongly (if the stars shone calmly for several days, and then began to twinkle, this means that bad weather will come in 2-3 days);
fog does not disappear after sunrise;
the sun sets in a continuous layer of cirrus clouds;
clouds of all tiers are simultaneously visible in the sky: cumulus, wavy, cirrus, "lambs";
smoke goes down or spreads along the ground;
dandelion flowers have not opened since morning;
celandine flower corollas drooped - rainy weather will come;
guinea pigs and swifts fly above the earth itself;
red meadow clover flowers curl up - on cloudy days, before rain and at night.

Signs of continued bad weather:

atmospheric pressure is low, unchanged;
the wind is weak;
cloudiness - continuous, without clearings;
fog creeps in the valleys;
prolonged light rain with short breaks.

Signs of improving weather:

pressure gradually begins to rise;
sharp cold during rain;
strong intermittent wind during rain;
the appearance of gaps between clouds during rain;
smoke rises;
cumulus clouds move in the same direction as the wind near the ground;
quiet and cool at night. It is much warmer in the forest than in the field. The moon sets in a clear sky;
clear morning. Corollas of loach open wide towards the sun;
swallows and swifts fly high above the ground;
copious dew falls at night;
in the morning cumulus clouds appear, which disappear by evening;
the wind subsides in the evening;
golden dawn at sunset.
