Often there is a need to break in the microengine, measure the number of revolutions and fuel consumption. It is not necessary to install the engine on the model for this. In the aircraft modeling circle of secondary school No. 112 of the city of Dnepropetrovsk, a stand was made, the design of which is easy to repeat. It can be used to launch and run in aircraft model engines with a volume of 1,5 to 10 cm3. The design of the stand is shown in the figure. It is based on a vise. It is best to use a table vise for wood, the parting plane of which is perpendicular to the front edge of the table.

The vise jaws are drilled with Ø 3,2 mm holes and M4 threaded. Squares are attached to the jaws with M4x20 screws, and the strips are screwed to them. The engine is attached to the paws with the help of pads.

Fix the vise on a solid base and, by turning the lead screw, set the bars to the width of the engine. Secure it with the straps. Tie a measuring tank with fuel with a rubber thread.

The stand is ready to go. It is necessary to test the engine on the street, at an open window or in a fume hood.

If necessary, the vise can also be used for its intended purpose, removing additional parts.

Citroen has created the Seetroen glasses, which help to cope with motion sickness.

Many people suffer from the so-called seasickness, or motion sickness: a feeling of nausea and motion sickness in transport. Citroen came up with a possible solution to the problem - they developed special glasses called Seetroen.

The white plastic frame of the glasses contains four rings filled with a blue liquid. The latter, according to Citroen, moves along the frontal and sagittal axes - left-right and back-and-forth - and creates an artificial horizon, which, in turn, allows you to resolve the conflict between the senses, which leads to unpleasant sensations in transport.
