Focus Description:

Strengthen the plywood on the easel. Turn on the mechanism so that it rotates. Taking 5-6 brushes in your hands, apply a stroke on the plywood that the audience will see. Continue painting, applying paint to the rotating plywood, forming a continuous flickering circle. So, changing brushes, apply multi-colored strokes to the palette for one to two minutes. When the plywood stops, the audience will see that a beautiful sketch has been written on it.

Focus secret:

The secret of the trick lies in the plywood on which the sketch is written in advance with oil paints. The colors should be bright and the strokes large. When the sketch dries well, it needs to be covered with a light layer of primer made on a paste base. The primer is made to match the color of the plywood. It should stick well to the sketch, but at the same time, at the right moment, at the slightest pressure with the brush, it should bounce off the palette.

The brushes are pre-painted in different colors. It is not paints that are squeezed out of the tubes, but lanolin with an adhesive. Painted and dried brushes are dipped into lanolin with glue, and strokes are applied to rotating plywood. In the place where the brush touches the plywood, the primer bounces off, settling on the brush, and a spot is formed there - a sketch emerging from under the primer.

Due to the frequent and rapid application of sharp strokes with different brushes, all the primer is removed. The paint is applied with brushes only for show, but in reality the primer that has stuck to the brush is removed.

Focus Rotating Palette

The figure shows a device for rotating plywood: a mechanism with a winding spring (1); inside the quadrangle is a round disk made to fit the plywood; brackets-clamps (2) are visible on it, with the help of which the plywood is secured and held; on the side - on the left of the easel - there is a button (3), pressing which activates the self-timer (as for photographs); The self-timer “in operation” gives a shutter speed from 5 to 45 seconds - depending on the adjustment; after that, the mechanism is activated, and the disk begins to rotate; To stop the rotating easel, there is a button (4) on the right, which activates the locking mechanism.

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>

Quantum computers for solving global problems 03.11.2020

American scientists are developing quantum computers capable of solving global problems.

The power that quantum computers have allows them to analyze and process data faster than modern computers, and therefore can make significant changes in various areas of human activity, from science to aviation or finance.

In August, the US government invested $1 billion in scientific research in the field of the latest technologies, including the development of quantum computers and the development of artificial intelligence. Now US companies are already working on their creation, which use modern technologies to organize the computing process.

IonQ, for example, uses a laser aimed at individual atoms. At the same time, quantum developments are actively pursued by companies such as Google, IBM and Rigetti Computing.
