SIEMENS A35SIEMENS A36

Along with the phone, in a plain white box without identification marks, there is a charger and nothing else: no instructions, no memo. To connect the charger to our outlets, you have to use the adapter that came with it. The first time it was not possible to install the plug into the adapter - the adapter had to be untwisted and reassembled, after that the charger was normally connected.

Charging the phone takes one and a half hours, the rechargeable battery is nickel-metal hydride with a capacity of 600 mAh. In appearance, it is very similar to the batteries used in the Siemens C25, only a plastic edging is attached to it from below to match the larger size of the A35 case.

According to the manufacturer, the battery life in standby mode is from 60 to 150 hours, and in talk mode from 90 to 240 minutes. In reality, these parameters are somewhat smaller and amount to about 3 - 4 days in standby mode with a small number of calls (up to 15 minutes per day). For an inexpensive budget handset, these figures are just great, the A35 really has a long battery life with a relatively small capacity.

The A35 uses a SIM-holder similar to that used in the 35th series of Siemens phones. The same red holder that slides into the slot. Everything is quite simple and, therefore, reliable.

The antenna of the A35 is external, fixed, the smooth contours of this device are very reminiscent of the C35. It lies very comfortably in the hand.

Menu, display and more

The device is turned on by pressing the button with the image of a red tube, but confirmation of the inclusion is required. If you do not confirm that the phone needs to be turned on using the soft key located under the screen, it will automatically turn off. The device is quickly registered in the network, after which the name of the mobile operator appears on the display. At the top of the screen is a row of icons; the leftmost one shows the signal level (4 bars), the right one shows the battery charge level (4 bars). The display in this model is 3-line, so, in addition to icons, 2 lines of text are placed on it, one of which, in turn, is used for soft-key labels. As you can see, there is only one line left to display various information, which is not always convenient, but you have to pay for the low price.

The rest of the menu is fairly standard. Let's take a closer look at the "Phone Book" item. Numbers cannot be stored in the phone's memory - only on the SIM card. For any number, you can assign a speed dial button (up to 9 keys in total), button 1 is for accessing voicemail. The Russian language in the names of the phone book, as well as in SMS messages, is not supported.

The "Messages" item provides access to writing and reading SMS messages. There are lists of incoming and outgoing messages indicating the number of read and unread messages. In one of the items in this menu, you can get information about the capacity of the SIM card for messages and free space. It is possible to configure broadcast messages, but only for one channel. There is a separate list for broadcast messages received on the phone.

The list of missed calls is limited to 5 numbers, there is no list of received calls. The redial list is designed for 10 numbers, but it is not very convenient to use it, because only one number is displayed on the screen, and the rest have to be scrolled.

There are only 15 ringtones in the phone, unfortunately you can't add your own ringtone.

Sound quality and sensitivity

The Siemens A35 has no problems with sound quality, although some people with a musical ear may complain about the lack of bass. In my opinion, the sound is good: the speaker clearly reproduces the speech of the interlocutor, and this is the main thing. The sensitivity of the A35 reminded me very much of the C25 - this impression literally haunted me. In principle, in terms of sound quality and sensitivity, the phone does not lose to other devices of its class: it almost always provides a stable connection.

Сonclusion

An inexpensive phone with only the most necessary functions, but it does its job one hundred percent. Frankly not working functions in the device were found. This phone will be an excellent choice for anyone who wants to have an inexpensive, but stable device. It seems to me that today the A35 can become a full-fledged replacement for the C25, which is so beloved by Russian buyers.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Spiders, feeding on graphene, weave the strongest web 11.09.2017

The web is already strong enough to hold small insects that have fallen into it, but thanks to the discovery of scientists in the future, it may be able to withstand the weight of a person.

Nicola Pugno and other scientists from Trent University (Italy) conducted a study during which graphene and carbon nanotubes were added to the drinking water of spiders.

When the test spiders weaved the web, as they always did, it turned out to be five times stronger than normal - and can be compared with carbon fiber and Kevlar, the strongest materials on Earth.

Punyo noted that scientists already knew about the biominerals present in the protein matrices and hard tissues of insects, which provide great strength and durability to their mandibles (upper jaws) and teeth; thus, researchers were more interested in whether it is possible to artificially improve the quality of spider silk by introducing various nanomaterials into its protein structures.

So far, these are only the first steps in the study of webs woven by spiders using graphene and nanotubes, and Punyo's results should be rechecked. It is noted that if they are confirmed, such an improved web can be used, for example, for the manufacture of ropes, cables, etc.
