The Skoda Karoq compact crossover will be the first vehicle from the Czech brand to feature a fully customizable digital instrument cluster.

We are talking about a virtual dashboard - a similar solution is already used in many other cars, in particular, in Audi and Volkswagen models.

In the case of the Skoda Karoq digital panel, four modes will be available to the driver: "classic", "digital", "info profile" and "minimalistic". The motorist will be able to determine what type of information will be placed in the selected area of the dashboard, as well as adjust the size of the blocks.

The classic mode involves the display on the sides of the display of the speedometer and tachometer, stylized as analog instruments. The area between them can be customized - for example, the current playlist or a zoomable map of the navigation system can be displayed here.

The digital version assumes that the entire width of the display is used to display information: it can be, say, an entertainment system screen or a navigation map. At the same time, in the upper and lower parts there is room for digital devices showing speed, recommendations for choosing a gear, etc.

An info profile is an option that displays, for example, a map in the central part of the screen, leaving room for blocks on the left, top and right, which can be configured individually.
