The largest project of its kind was the rise of Chicago in the mid-19th century, when the authorities of the city, located in a swampy area, decided to lay sewers to combat dirt and unsanitary conditions. The level of streets in the central part of the city was raised by an average of one and a half meters, and at the same time dozens of buildings were raised or moved.

In most cases, the work of organizations and shops did not stop, and many of their visitors did not even know about the engineering work.

Neuromorphic computers represent a new era in computing, inspired by the architecture of the human brain. They promise a revolution in artificial intelligence, helping to solve complex problems more efficiently. One of the latest pioneers in this area is the neuromorphic computer Hala Point, presented by Intel.

Intel has entered a new era of computing with the introduction of its latest breakthrough in neuromorphic architecture, the Hala Point computer. Designed based on the principles of the human brain, this supercomputer promises to revolutionize artificial intelligence.

Hala Point is capable of processing huge amounts of data with unprecedented speed and efficiency. The supercomputer can perform up to 30 quadrillion operations per second and has a memory bandwidth of 16 petabytes per second. This allows it to solve problems 100 times more efficiently and 50 times faster compared to traditional CPU and GPU architectures.

Hala Point is built on the basis of 1152 specialized Loihi 2 processors, with a total number of neuromorphic processing cores of 140 thousand and 1,15 billion artificial neurons.
