It turns out that comet tails do not have a detrimental effect on the earth's atmosphere? And what if there is a collision of the planet with the core of the "shaggy star"? As astronomers have calculated, such an event is unlikely.

Although the Earth is located in a dangerous asteroid zone and the entire solar system is filled with cosmic bodies ranging in size from a large stone to a small planet, although our planet is threatened by about 10 thousand different cosmic bodies, modern science and technology enable mankind to take care of their safety.

Firstly, astronomers can predict a meeting with an uninvited guest, because a whole network of powerful telescopes in many countries of the world continuously monitors dangerous celestial bodies. Secondly, there are ways to counter the alien invasion - attack an asteroid, comet or meteor with a missile with a nuclear warhead, or make a directed explosion in their immediate vicinity. Thirdly, it is reassuring that there are more small meteors than large ones. The study of meteorite craters on Earth allows us to conclude that the fall of a large meteorite occurs on average once every 50 million years.

When a person tries to drink, the muscles of the mouth and throat contract into spasms. Therefore, this disease has another name - hydrophobia, or rabies. Muscle spasm occurs due to changes in the nervous system. Death occurs when the respiratory muscles undergo spasms.

If a person or animal falls ill with this disease, death is inevitable. Therefore, the disease must be prevented. The bite site must be carefully treated. The person or animal must be examined by a doctor within three days of being bitten. Serum is used in the treatment. The serum acts on the virus before it develops and damages the brain. The injections are given every day for 2-3 weeks.
