Good morning, good morning and good day!
Music
Phraseologism: Good morning, good morning and good day!
Meaning: Quoted as a playful morning greeting.
Origin: From the song "Good morning!" (1960), written by the composer Oscar Feltsman (1921-2013) to the verses of the poetess Olga Yakovlevna Fadeeva (1906-1986). This song played the role of a musical intro to the Sunday entertaining and humorous radio program "Good Morning" (the first broadcast on the air - May 20, 1960).
Random phraseology:
Socialism with a human face.
Meaning:
About an attempt to combine the socialist doctrine (as presented by K. Marx, F. Engels and V. I. Lenin) with the values of a democratic, civilized society.
Origin:
The original source is a television speech (July 18, 1968) by the leader of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia, Alexander Dubcek (1921-1992), in which he called for "a policy so that socialism does not lose its human face." Probably, A. Dubcek in this case used the image of the American political scientist A. Hadley, author of the book "Power with a human face" ("Power" s Human Face, 1965). |

Artificial leather for touch emulation
15.04.2024
In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>
Petgugu Global cat litter
15.04.2024
Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>
The attractiveness of caring men
14.04.2024
The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>
Random news from the Archive Linear regulator TPS7A45
16.12.2015
The powerful TPS7A45 linear regulator from Texas Instruments is optimized to handle rapidly changing loads. This LDO is capable of providing a maximum load current of up to 1.5 A with a minimum input-output voltage drop of about 350 mV.
TPS7A45 has minimal intrinsic noise and can be used to power sensitive circuits of radio paths and radio modules.
The TPS7A45 controller's own consumption is 1 mA or less. To turn off the microcircuit, there is an additional shutdown input, when activated, the consumption is reduced to 1 μA.
The output voltage level can be in the range of 1,2...20 V. The specific value of the output voltage is adjusted using a resistive divider (for the adjustable version) or by selecting a chip with a fixed output voltage.
The TPS7A45 includes reverse polarity protection (input) and reverse current protection (output).
The TPS7A45 is available in two package types: SOT-223 (6) and TO-263 (5). This chip will find its application in industrial devices, wireless networks and radio frequency systems.
The main parameters:
Maximum output current: 1,5A;
Regulation error: <1% (25°С);
Rated voltage drop: 300mV;
Noise: <35 μV (10 Hz...100 kHz);
Ripple suppression ratio: 68 dB;
Own consumption: <1 mA;
Output voltage range: 1,5V, 1,8V, 2,5V, 3,3V or adjustable version;
Own consumption in Shutdown mode: <1 μA;
Work with a ceramic capacitor at the output;
Input protection against reverse polarity supply;
Reverse current output protection;
Output overcurrent protection;
Thermal protection.
