Focus Description:

The card is removed from the deck and placed in the spectator's pocket.

Focus The card is in the viewer's pocket

Focus secret:

Wet the back of your hand a little. Give the deck to the spectator to shuffle. Lay the deck face down on the table and ask the spectator to memorize the first card. Then ask the spectator to place the back of their left hand on the cards and press firmly with their right hand. To make it clear to him, you yourself must show the viewer how to do it.

When you remove your left hand from the deck, you also remove a card with it. After that, you calmly remove your hands behind your back and remove the card from your hand. Point out that it is very important that the person placing their hands on the cards does so very carefully. This will allow you to draw the attention of others to the hands of the viewer. And you use it and put the card in the pocket of one of the spectators.

After that, you say that you are ordering the card to be in the spectator's pocket, despite the fact that another spectator is holding it tightly. And you take it out of the pocket in which you put it. It is desirable that the card be in the pocket of a person who presses on a deck of cards with his hands. This makes the focus even more powerful.

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>

The threat of space debris to the Earth's magnetic field 01.05.2024

More and more often we hear about an increase in the amount of space debris surrounding our planet. However, it is not only active satellites and spacecraft that contribute to this problem, but also debris from old missions. The growing number of satellites launched by companies like SpaceX creates not only opportunities for the development of the Internet, but also serious threats to space security. Experts are now turning their attention to the potential implications for the Earth's magnetic field. Dr. Jonathan McDowell of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics emphasizes that companies are rapidly deploying satellite constellations, and the number of satellites could grow to 100 in the next decade. The rapid development of these cosmic armadas of satellites can lead to contamination of the Earth's plasma environment with dangerous debris and a threat to the stability of the magnetosphere. Metal debris from used rockets can disrupt the ionosphere and magnetosphere. Both of these systems play a key role in protecting the atmosphere and maintaining ... >>

Solidification of bulk substances 30.04.2024

There are quite a few mysteries in the world of science, and one of them is the strange behavior of bulk materials. They may behave like a solid but suddenly turn into a flowing liquid. This phenomenon has attracted the attention of many researchers, and we may finally be getting closer to solving this mystery. Imagine sand in an hourglass. It usually flows freely, but in some cases its particles begin to get stuck, turning from a liquid to a solid. This transition has important implications for many areas, from drug production to construction. Researchers from the USA have attempted to describe this phenomenon and come closer to understanding it. In the study, the scientists conducted simulations in the laboratory using data from bags of polystyrene beads. They found that the vibrations within these sets had specific frequencies, meaning that only certain types of vibrations could travel through the material. Received ... >>

Stereo system Koda EX-569T 22.05.2017

The Polish company Polpak presented a set of passive stereo loudspeakers Koda EX-569T, belonging to the initial segment. The design is shelf-mounted, with a bass-reflex placed on the rear panel. The case is finished with a PVC film, and the front panel is painted in black matte paint, the thickness of the MDF walls is only 12 mm. At the same time, the manufacturer speaks of good resistance to body resonances, perhaps there are spacers inside, which are rarely found in the budget segment.

The claimed frequency range from 48 Hz to 20 kHz is covered by a 25 mm silk dome tweeter and a 165 mm woofer with a Kevlar driver. The enlarged tweeter magnetic system allows for better control of the membrane movements, and Kapton is used in the design of the woofer coil. Nominal impedance 4 Ohm, sensitivity 88 dB, with dimensions of 33 x 19,5 x 24,1 cm, the weight of each speaker is 5,75 kg.

The Koda EX-569T stereo system can be accompanied by the Koda SW-850 MKII subwoofer, whose case has a similar finish but is made of MDF boards already 18 mm thick. The 200 mm loudspeaker with a cellulose-based driver is designed for long-term operation at high volume levels, the manufacturer claims long-term and peak power at 100 W and 250 W, respectively. The phase inverter is brought to the floor, which further increases the sound pressure. The cutoff frequency is adjustable within 50-200 Hz, you can adjust the phase and signal level. With dimensions of 32,2 x 27 x 33,5 cm, the weight of the product is 8,6 kg.

The Koda EX-569T stereo system is priced at about $135, the Koda SW-850 MKII subwoofer at $120.
