Focus Description:

The magician takes a small pouch made of black material and, turning it inside out, shows that there is nothing inside. Then he again shows him from the outside (Fig. 71).

Focus Eggbag
Fig. 71

Holding the bag with his left hand, he makes a wave with his right hand, having previously shown that it is empty. As if catching something in the air, he squeezes it into a fist and "throws" it into a bag from a distance. He puts his hand into the bag and takes out an egg. Having shown it, he puts it back and immediately shows the bag empty, turning it inside out again. Turning it on its front side, the magician holds the bag in his left hand, and with his right hand again waves it in the air, showing that he has "caught" the egg that everyone sees in his palm. The egg is put into the bag, which immediately turns out to be empty again. For greater persuasiveness, the illusionist throws the bag on the floor and steps on it. Then, lifting and brushing off the bag, he calmly takes out an egg from there.

Approached assistant gives the performer a glass. The magician breaks an egg with a knife and releases it into a glass. Again he waves his hand - and again he has a new egg, which he puts in a bag.

Such tricks in different versions continue on and on. In conclusion, the performer shows that he puts the egg back into the bag, which he immediately twists with a tourniquet and easily throws backstage.

Special bag.

One wooden egg imitated to look like a real one.

Fresh chicken egg.

Focus secret:

The secret of the trick lies in the special design of the bag, which allows you to discreetly hide the egg inside, and in the ability to manipulate the egg. The bag is sewn from black satin or twill as follows. Cut a strip 85 long and 25 cm wide; the strip is folded as shown in Fig. 72, A. Set aside a piece 30 cm long (1-1 and 2-2) and bend it, then on the other side also fold 30 cm (2-2 and 3-3), and wrap the remaining piece 20 cm long inside in the direction of numbers 4-4. Then a seam is made along the lines on both sides 1-2 and 1-2. It turns out a bag with a secret compartment 3-3 and 4-4 (Fig. 72, B); the dotted line shows the border of the inner band, which denotes the inner pouch.

Focus Eggbag
Fig. 72

Showing the bag empty, the conjurer imperceptibly palms in his left hand a wooden egg taken out of his left pocket at the moment when he makes a turn. He then discreetly lowers the egg into the bag. Now you can once again show the bag empty, for this they lower their hand inside and overturn the bag so that the egg rolls into secret compartment D, into corner 3-3. (See Fig. 72; B is the bag in the normal position without the egg.) D is the moment when the egg rolls out of the secret compartment to the edge 2-2, from where it can be easily reached by hand; E - the position of the egg in the bag before it is taken out or just lowered. W and H are the moments when the bag is turned over and the egg is inside the secret compartment. The bag is shown empty, especially showing the bottom; the egg, located in the left corner, should be clamped with the left hand, then the bag can even be turned out without any fear.

Now that the whole technique of demonstrating the bag is clear, let's continue the description. After the egg is lowered into the bag, the magician imitates catching the egg "out of thin air" with his right hand, but in fact the hand is empty. Before this manipulation, the performer imperceptibly takes the egg out of the bag with his right hand at the moment when he shows the audience that it is empty. The egg is also shown to the audience.

Then the magician, pretending to put the egg in a bag, actually palms it and hides it in his pocket, where he exchanges it for a real one. The illusionist also palms this egg, so that at the right moment he puts it into the bag, immediately takes it out again and breaks it. After that, the artist secretly takes out a wooden egg from his pocket and palms it in his hand, which he then “catches” from the air and puts in a bag.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Magnetic spray creates robots 25.11.2020

Tiny robotic devices require miniaturized electronics, making such mechanisms difficult and expensive to manufacture. Researchers from Hong Kong talked about a new technology that allows you to turn any microscopic objects into robots using a special magnetic spray.

A team of scientists announced the creation of a unique spray, after processing which any objects receive the functions of robots and can be controlled due to magnetic properties. The spray consists of polyvinyl alcohol, gluten and iron particles. It instantly adheres to any objects, regardless of their structure and size, after which a film with a thickness of 0,1 to 0,25 mm is formed on the surface.

After applying the spray, the object is magnetized, depending on how it will be further controlled under the influence of a magnetic field. After the end of the procedure, the researchers get the so-called millirobots with different modes of movement: they can crawl, walk, roll over and roll over various surfaces, from glass and leather to wood and sand.

Any robot can be reprogrammed to get a different mode of movement. During the experiment, it was possible to deliver a medicine capsule into the body of a sleeping rabbit. So far, the protective coating of the robot can withstand no more than eight minutes, but technology has already been developed that allows it to survive in an acidic environment for up to half an hour.

The researchers believe that their robots will be useful for transporting drugs to certain parts of the body, as mobile sensors, and in many other areas.
