Focus Description:

Show the audience an oval frame in which the glass is inserted. Wrap the frame and glass on both sides with parchment paper. Take five arrows and pierce paper and glass at five points along the diameter (Fig. a). Then take out the arrows, remove the paper and show the audience the whole glass.

Focus secret:

The secret of the focus lies in the arrangement of the frame. It is glued together from two plywood, between which a specially prepared glass moves: five holes are pre-drilled in it (Fig. b).

When you show the glass to the audience, the opening is hidden by the frame (fig. c). After wrapping the frame and glass with paper, turn the frame over. The glass under its own weight will slide down, and the holes will be located along the diameter of the frame. Then, when the trick is demonstrated by you and the arrows are pulled out, turn the frame over again - and the audience will see a whole glass.
