Focus Description:

Standing at the table, ask the audience for a watch. Place it on the table in front of you, make passes with your hands - the clock will begin to move and then rotate on the table. Make the trick more difficult by covering the clock with a transparent glass - the clock will continue to rotate under it. Take your hands away from the glass - the clock will still move.

Focus secret:

For the trick you will need a very thin but fairly strong thread, for example taken from nylon or elastic stockings, 25-35 cm long. It should be so thin as to be invisible from a distance of 50 cm. Attach small pieces of gray construction Velcro or chewing gum to the ends 1,5 mm in diameter.

A piece of paper is placed on one end over the Velcro. Tuck this end into the front waistband of your trousers, and attach the other end - with Velcro - to a shirt button (Fig. a). All these preparations are made before performing the trick.

Focus Moving Clock

Invisibly separate the Velcro from the button and pinch it between your index and middle fingers. After this, you can ask the audience to lend you a watch. If you hold Velcro in your left hand, then take the watch with your right. Pass the watch from your right hand to your left and with one movement of your left hand, attach the Velcro to the outside of the watch strap. Then roll the strap slightly in a circle, move towards the table and place the prepared watch at a slightly angle. The watch can rotate 45°.

If you suck in your stomach or lean back slowly (unnoticed by the audience), the watch will begin to rotate around its axis (Fig. b). Your movements must be smooth, otherwise you risk breaking the thread and being exposed.

Focus Moving Clock

If you move suddenly, and the clock follows you, this will arouse suspicion among the audience.

Raise your hands above the table, making slow passes to create the impression that the clock is rotating under the influence of the biofield emitted by your hands. Turn the watch about 15° and say that you have such a strong biofield that even if you cover it with a glass, it will still be exposed to this biofield.

Ask for a clear glass and cover the watch with it. The thread is so thin that the glass will not be an obstacle for it, and it will continue to spin the clock. In this position, rotate the watch another 15°. After this, remove it from the glass and scroll the clock to the last 15°. When returning the watch to the spectators, in the same way - in one movement - separate the Velcro from the watch and return it to its original position between the fingers.

Before going out to the audience with this trick, you need to carefully rehearse all the key moments, take into account the light and color of the table so that the thread is not visible, and in no case make sudden movements.

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>
