MINI-1, MINI-II, MINI-III

Electro-optical converters MINI-1 - MINI-III with multi-alkaline shutter, inverter with improved resolution at the edges of the field of view are used for visual observation of dimly lit objects. Converters are used in miniature night vision devices for various purposes.

The working diameter of the photocathode is 14 mm. The case is metal-glass (Fig. 1, a). The photocathode Fk is deposited on a glass plate. The anode a is a screen located on the opposite side of the housing. It is a glass plate coated with a layer of phosphor. On fig. 1b schematically shows the device of the converter and its power supply circuits. A high DC voltage is applied between the photocathode and the screen with a minus to the photocathode.

The color of the screen glow is yellow-green. The device can be made in a sealed version, as well as with a built-in secondary power source and voltage multiplier.

Three-electrode image intensifier tubes SHUTTER with a multi-alkali photocathode, inverter, with an annular electronic shutter have an improved resolution over the field of view. The working diameter of the photocathode is 18 mm.

The case is metal with a glass photocathode and a screen (Fig. 2a). The color of the screen glow is yellow-green.

The converter has a rather complex electron-optical structure (Fig. 2b). A shutter and an accelerating anode are placed between the photocathode and the screen. A high voltage is supplied to these electrodes from the power supply with a minus to the gate, and a plus to the anode. By changing within small limits (50 V) the voltage between the gate and the cathode, the best focusing of the image is achieved.

SHUTTER is designed for pulsed night vision devices with the possibility of laser illumination, for laser rangefinding. Devices are protected from bright external illumination. Available in sealed version. Design versions of the device with built-in secondary power supply and voltage multiplier are provided.

EPM-61G

The image intensifier tube with a multi-alkali photocathode and a microchannel plate, inverter, has a working photocathode diameter of 25 mm. The device can work with fiber optic input and output.

The transducer housing is metal-glass (Fig. 3). The power supply is built-in, the supply voltage is 3 V. The color of the screen glow is yellow-green.

The device is designed for installation in various observation, sighting and driver's night vision devices. It is equipped with protection devices against bright illumination of the photocathode and automatic control of screen brightness.
